Women with gray hair look older.

Men with gray hair look distinguished.

I'm going and don't really care, I earned everyone.
Can't say I'm wild about it but I'd never fake it, think I've got a couple of years yet and I'm more concerned about it falling out than graying.
Anyone wants to look; my profile pic was last Oct and the two with the bandana around my throat (it was below zero winds) were a couple of weeks ago.
I'm 62

Personally I don't really think men have as much choice. We've got like 3 colours. A sort of nicotine yellow. A weird trumpish orangey brown. Or boot polish black.
Women have like 20 different shades of red, never mind all the other colours.
I've often wondered is there really a difference, between men and woman's hair dye, and if so what? And why?
I figure if your going to fake something, like having your hair dyed or having a fake Rolex, then you kind of don't want everybody to know, at least not from 20 paces. And boot polish matt black, really kind of gives the game away

Grey hair is inherited. My father didn't get gray until way into his 60's. I guess I'm unusual.

Your hair looks nice. It'd still look nice grey. But I think it more than likely looks better like that. But it's your hair. So as long as your happy with it, then I guess that's all that really matters

when i sold my house and huge yard 5 years ago, i had natural dark brown hair. it was traumatic for me to leave my home, but divorced husband, just couldn't work a 40 hour week and do all the yard. plus three Huskies and 3 cats. Plus lots of stairs....family moved me into duplex, had a familly snapshot taken and hair was shoulder length and dark brown. only 1 pet allowed. Too much trauma and it turned my hair gray/white.
This past weekend, I said To H*** with it, I want my brown hair. Daughter gave me a good undercut, matched the underneath brown color in back, and left my bangs gray/white. I've had a lot of compliments and mostly, "you look younger" It really sucks that men look ok in gray and age, and it counts AGAINST us women. anyway, there it is ----- have not posted a new pic since colored.

My mother 'bleached' her hair white.
It looked 'good' om her.

Personally. I am more attracted to women that have natural hair color, and yes, you can tell.

My X dyed her hair almost every week it seemed.
She had beautiful blond hair when we married.
I've seen her is every possible color but I always preferred her natural color.

While I understand the 'dying' reasons women change or 'enhance' their hair color, I liken it to a facade. A lie.

My premise in finding someone us to see them as they actually are.
Their hair color is insignificant unless it doesn't match 'other' hair.
My X had black hair but blonde eye brows and pubic hair.

I think grey hair shows that person as they actually are.
My present gf has naturally grey hair.
She isn't self-conscious about it.
Frankly, her grey hair is never an issue, nor is mine.

While dyed hair might 'look' pretty, the natural look holds more meaning to me.
In older women, who I pursue, grey hair indicates not only honesty but a sense of worth. She obviously has sufficient self-esteem that she feels no need to be something she is not.
That is a turn on for me.

That does look nice Blondey. I'm not crazy about the blue coloring, for me, but the one with light brown hair and streaks of silver looks good.

I usually wait 3 or 4 months to color my hair, by then I have a bunch of silvery white streaks. My last profile picture shows it more because I went with a darker color... this one not so much because it's closer to my natural color.

Post a pic if you decide to do it, I'd love to see how it looks on you waving

Gray hair on men looks better. Why is that?

I don't agree that they looked better... I think the statement women look older and men look more distinguished is more of a stereotyping/mindset that we've been conditioned to believe. I've seen women with gray and with silvery hair that don't look old, quite attractive actually.

Why we tell ourselves that would be more the question to ask, imo.

Totally grey can look almost silver and looks great, especially if it's long, and otherwise in good condition.

I have a bit of gray on the sides. I like it.

Anyway, I wouldn't think of dyeing my hair... for what?. I have seen women doing it as I pass the hair salon, it looks too complicated and messy.

I love gray hair, and I hate dyed hair... if my hair was meant to be another color it would not have gone grey. Dyed hair never looks natural. Much more attracted to a man with gray hair and a full, well kept beard. That's just me... you asked

I think, as people say, if it makes you feel better about yourself, why not? It's not hurting anyone.

You don't really believe that, do you? You're cute. I know a whole lot of men that would be honored to date you.

The last guy I was dating was 19-years-older than me and he was all gray when i met him. I thought he was 10 years younger. Things didn't work out.
