Climbing aboard my big touring bike. It's never the destination, I reached that when I sat down.

i am still waiten on 2026 (give or take 15 mins)
if Guy McPherson is right (was a prediction he gave in 2016 said 10 year give or minus 15 mins)
no worries , it will all be over soon
all though i think it got kicked to 2030 cause of some of the models
and if your not on stable ground (mentally), do not research in to that

but what keeps me going is ya never know what tomorrow holds
your answer could be just around the next corner

i, myself, will never give up , i have untill my taxi (body) gives out
and looken at me family tree , i have a lot of time left on the meter from past family members years

any who
take a vacation , even if its just down to the end of the block to the park for a short time or pack a lunch and make it longer
go to the pet store and see if they will let ya play with there inmates (not bought or adopted pets)
<shrug>
break the routine : )

its all mind over matter
and since i have no mind
mine dont matter
lmao : )

And what about the millenium shutdown in 2000? The mayan calendar in 2013? ( I personally thought he ran out of paper. Or ink.)

the mayan never said it was the end of the world
they said it was a new age of enlightenment..... (internet)

Guy McPherson
is an American scientist, retired professor emeritus of natural resources and ecology has collected stuff off the Peer review work

There is never a time when I cannot pack a small bag and disappear for a period of time even if only to the park for the afternoon! I know the rest of the world will take care of things while I'm away for awhile!

Losing interest in life

Hey. This is not a page for suicidal people. We will just share what we love about living so we can motivate each other.

Nobody needs motivation to live their lives.
If they are alive, they are living their lives.

There seems to be an abundance of people stressed out because life doesn't happen as they expect it to.
Life is just life.

The motivation should not be focused on living life but it should be focused on healthy self-esteem.
There should be focus on removing delusions and dealing with reality.
To get control of yourself.

Once you have control of yourself, it is easier to make the correct decisions resulting in positive outcomes.
It allows you to correctly deal with misfortune when it does happen.
It allows you to make the correct decision to prevent most misfortunes.
It allows you to remove those expectations of life that keep you unhappy.

Having control over yourself can also help your usage and the relating costs of bad decisions.
You have more money.
You smile more.
Everyone notices a change for the better in you.
Opportunities are easier to identify and implement.
You realize life is what you make it.
You find contentment (inner peace).
You realize life is just life.

Its amazing how few can get this.
Some people will actually fight to stay miserable.
They will make excuses.
They will sabotage themselves.
They will concentrate on the negative things in life and ignore the positive.
It makes no sense but people do it?

I've not lost interest in life, but I have lost connection with what I want and that feels weird.
I know what the blockage is, but not sure what to do about it. There's also the knowing that if I was certain about what I wanted I would simply do it without hesitation. So the hesitation.. is it a sign it wasn't the right thing or a sign that I'm just afraid?
I dunno, haha.
In the meantime doing smaller things, that are actually not necessarily all that small.

I'm 72 and this is what I finally learned: Never allow someone else to control your life unless it is to your benefit. That includes employers, friends, family, and relationships. Each must be giving you something that makes your life better for the control you ALLOW them to have!

I'm 58 and I am no longer living the life I expected I would be living at this point in time. NOTHING is as I expected it to be.

What did I learn?
I learned that life is just life and expectations are not a given.
Embracing stark reality can be very scary but it does get easier with time, much like anything you do.

After my brush with death, my doctors told me I had about 5 years left to live, that was 9 years ago. I am living past my expiration right now. I may not make it to bedtime, I may not wake up tomorrow.
I am satisfied when I can stay verticle.

Life is being alive.
How you value life can only come from within, while you are alive.
It doesn't matter what you do, if yer doing it, you ARE living life.

Life purpose I've found is a tricky word as it seems to mean different things to different people.
For me it's been a discovery, a journey, and I'm still on that journey.
I learnt that -for me at least- there's personal goals and goals that I'd call Soul goals or my Soul path.
Personally I think that's what "life purpose" means, what you came to do here this life, in other words what you as a soul wanted to do and learn.

I seem to have a double mission: part is my own Soul growth, other part is serving the planet and mankind. These two are related, sometimes I work more on one, then on the other, almost seems to go hand in hand.

48 and still not dead , yet : )
i think
but
that all depends on your out look and who ya ask
<smurk>

life ...its a giant roller coaster ride some parts ya really not going to like

most would say my life is a giant train wreck that crash landed in a toilet and just waiting for some one to flush

for the most part , i agree , but (lightning flashes and hits the ground) " Ya missed, please try again " oops side tracked
try to not let it get ya down
its not all bad all the time
yes stuff hurts
but
stuff can be grand , exsighting , enjoyable , and many many others
ya still breathing , move that body and do something : )

try to live your life with your glass half full
its not easy but it sure is fun : )
as well as sometimes ya get lucky and put a smile on someone else face

if ya dont know about the half full or empty glass
you have a glass half full of water , is it half full or half empty ? ? ?

and if ya find my glass , please let me know
i think its out with my brain haven fun ... with out me

Thank you for your shares. I really like reading it. I always look at those people who are more than 60 years old and think that they are awesome people. Imagine staying alive for sixty years and still fighting for survival? That's awesome!! And you can still smile and laugh and show love. Whenever I say Im tired of living but I dont want to die yet, I would look to those level 60 in life and say, "oh come on, life is cool, you only have to embrace it." And we dont just exist to survive, we exist for life and to feel alive. And I think that's a gift like a mystery box being unwrapped as time goes by. Thank you people!

Hey, my dear Katu. Life is a wonderful gift given from above. So whatever the case is, cherish it.
I am in the thirties but lemme tell you what i have learned with my little years.
Whatever problems I encounter, I just remember that there are people worse than me as there are better so I keep my head up. For example lets say that my salary isnt paid on time. I will get angry and think what am i gonna do for mortgage, food, etc. Then what makes me fe/el better is what about the others that cant afford all these things? I ask myself How do they live?
Whether we like it or not life is like this. We justhave to deal with it and thank the Almighty for giving us this life
