Some kind of chest thing going around. They were pretty much all recovering from it. Still, worth it. I imagine so! And it's that time of year, seems to be going around here as well. Fortunately my resistance is much higher than it was last year. Winter is always bad for colds etc. I usually shake these things off quite quickly as well and take astragalus extract to boost my immune system and it seems to be working.

I feel like one does when you are about to go to bed and are sleepy... like... I wished I was in bed! I don't want to brush my teeth, I don't like being cold the first couple of minutes either... Goodnight everyone!!

Relieved that I'm done with my current job, just said my goodbyes. I'll miss the residents though. But I'm excited to be starting out the new year with a new job and new beginnings.

Amused and grateful. My boss called to confirm my start date next week and let me know she finally spoke with the owner, who approved rehiring me. But he's postponing a pay raise until after I've been there for a month. Guess he's afraid I'll run off to Florida again or someplace else, haha. It makes sense and I'm happy he's just postponing it rather than saying no to it. Once I prove I'm not a flight risk, I'll get the raise. Happy also that I have three days off before starting my new/old job, and that my boss followed through with her promise to give me the schedule I wanted.

Nervous and scared: I have to go to a strange dentist in 2 hours for likely a root canal as I woke up and the whole left of my face is swollen. Toothache started on Christmas day, got worse real fast. I'd hoped to make it to 2020 so I get coverage again, but nope... Meaning I have to cough up lots of money again. I just paid of the last big dentist bill last week. Oh well... Danged nervous!

Thank you, CosmicCharlie, Delightful and River!! We decided it was best to pull it. I cried. I so effing hate losing body parts and to me teeth are bodyparts. And I was chit scared. My entire body was shaking. In a way I preferred root canal cos at least I know what's gonna happen. Cannot recall the last time I had a tooth pulled. Thank goodness he was sweet, it was out quite easily, unfortunately part of one root broke off and he had to sod around to get that out. I got my tooth home with me, I asked (much to his surprise). Now I got a gap between teeth that feels huge and it's beginning to hurt like hell even though the anesthetic I got should work for another 3,5 hrs??? No antibiotics, my body should take care of the infection/inflamation that caused the swelling. Going to carefully eat some soup now... it's half past 6 and I haven't had anything yet. Sorry for being so lengthy, hihi.
