How can one even begin to cope with the idea that ur girlfriend of 3yrs has decided to marry a man? These girls aren't loyal.

Well............. they decided that they really needed to add a controlling tyrant and mega-assssole with tons of drama into their life.

bisexuality is inherently undecisive don't beat yourself up over it.

It's also possible that the penalties for lesbianism mentioned by the OP might have some relevance to this decision.

no different than if she left you for another woman...

Hi Nonny, according to one of your other posts, in your country you can go to jail for many years for having lesbian/gay relationships. Perhaps she feared her freedom if getting caught?

Best way to cope is to give yourself time to heal and move forward.

If she married a bi man, and you married a bi man, you could all get together and play swapsies. tongue2

You actually appear more offended, by the fact that your
girlfriend entered into a heterosexual lifestyle, than by the
fact that she left you in the first place.

To heal, you need to put away the bigotry and bitterness,
and let your heart mend.

What Rock said.
Apart from that, I fail to see how this has anything to do with loyalty. Someone not loving you anymore is just that. Everyone can fall out of love, you don't get guarantees. Plus there's always signs something is going awry, it's just that most choose to ignore those signs.

And maybe it's what Riverspirit said, fear of repercussion as it's illegal in your country.

The second year of a relationship is when faults start to show up. Between 3 and 5 years is when a relationship falls apart. The 7th year of a marriage is normally the hardest. Facts and statistics tend to be boring.

Being betrayed isn't much fun. Only you can do the heavy lifting when it comes to dealing with it. If you don't, you'll be jaded in any new relationship you may be fortunate to have. Which of cause will make it fail do to you not being able to trust.

long ago ... men and women... gay and lesbians ...
married the opposite sex ... just to save face ...

it is not a easy life ... so many are prejudice ...
so they took the easy way out ... and had both sexes... kept under cover ...

How can one even begin to cope

The same way people cope with anything.
Calm down.
Breathe.
Think.
Don't let your emotions control you.
Find better things to do than dwell or wallow.
You'll go through a "grieving" process naturally.
You can either choose to do this and actively work on it, or your brain will put you through it.
Just a matter of time. The former is usually faster than the latter.

These girls aren't loyal.

There you go.
Compartmentalizing, objectifying or labeling them as part of a group can be put in the anger, denial, and bargaining stages, depending on what led to that.
You're on your way!
Congratulations.
