I did not hear her mention a mandate for conditions. All she said was they were not going to announce ON THE DAY of the vote, what management choices they were making. They were going to determine that once they got the guidelines being used for the proceedings. I Know educated decisions are scandalous in this day and age to many people, but to me, it is only responsible and mature.

I didn't hear her demand anything either.....imo.. Nancy is only being
hospitable and polite in offering the president a reasonable amount time
to save face and submit his resignation during the Christmas break....

Hi Ho,Hi Ho,... off to Mar-a-Lago he goes...

So impeachment articles are to hang like Damocles Sword.
And henceforth, President Trump has to roll over to Congress.
He may no longer fire his chauffeur without approvals.

Welcome to Parliamentary Democracy - like in UK and ahem,
like in India.

Dicatator Trump does not 'have to' do anything. That is the problem.

The vote was only Thursday. The sky is not falling.

I see what you mean Ms. Harmony, withholding the Impeachment Article is a masterstroke. P has achieved much more than if she had forwarded it to Senate.

I agree with you Ms. Harmony, that by withholding the Impeachment Article, Pelosi has achieved much more than if she had forwarded it to the Senate.

By the way, those aren't Republicans.
The Republican Party has died and been replaced with the Trumpican Party.

McConnell doesn't want witnesses called is the same as his tactic holding
back bi-partisan bills (bills 80% of the electorate think are good) from being
voted on in the senate....if he would put these bills to vote, his cronies would
be forced to vote NO on them and become public record for all to see...
it's very hard to face a town hall event and answer why did you vote
NO on something We the People want...

same as calling Bolton & Mulvaney to testify under oath in the impeachment
trial.....either testify honestly what they know or perjure themselves...

He is not some rookie at this stuff...He protects those who are of value to him..

I beg to differ David.

If instead of Trump, say the Republicans had fielded a female candidate
and she had won ...

Make no mistake - The Democrats would have hated her as much - even more
If she had fired her hairdresser, her hairdresser would have been invited to testify
Bolton was fired because his thinking was fossil from a bygone time.

With Trump - it is easier to hate openly
because this elephant keeps drooling and sneezing

The real issue is this inter-hate from Clinton era impeachment - has traveled to the younger generation, to college campuses

Why would democrats hate a female?

If the unprecedented level of attacks on SS by CNN and Washington Post is anything to go by.

That is not an issue of her being female so much as her being sounding board for Trump.

As usual Ms. Harmony, you make a sweeping statement that makes further argument fruitless so allow me to put up a hypothetical situation.

Let's say in 2024 elections the Republicans nominate this lady and assume that the Democrat nominee is a man.

Carly Fiona is a soft spoken, highly respected lady but is through and through a Conservative that makes Trump look like a school boy carrying his back pack of books.

Would you vote for her - if she were the only woman candidate?

And Gentlemen, the reason I enjoy posting pictures of these ladies is because it's rare to find such women of unusual caliber - excluding our few Mingle ladies of course.

Sanders is infamous for regurgitating Trump's falsehoods and for mocking people with speech impediments.
People don't hate her. They just reject her misdeeds.

Thanks David.

And like Sanders, Donald Trump has stolen the key ideas from Carly Fiorina - for example the entire unraveling of the Iran Nuclear Deal and its extension to Sanctions.

And so the question to Ms. Harmony (sorry, not directed to you) whether she would vote for Fiorina an incredibly intelligent person; if she was the only woman candidate in 2024.

A simple 'yes' or 'no' is also fine.
