Upholding immigration law would cure that.

No such thing as government funded. It's all taxpayer funded.
Here. On the U.S., liberal Communist Party wants taxpayers pay for Illegals and polygamist migrants bringing wives and hordes of offspring.

Mick Jagger stated it perfectly.
English healthcare lacks QUALITY and SHORTER wait times.
Subjects bow.
We bow to no one.
We stand up, look them square in the eyes and shake their hands.

'America’s Healthcare vs. England’s Healthcare

The combination of quality and wait times for receiving healthcare in America is better than it is in England. A large part of that is because of England’s National Health Service.

English citizens like that they don’t have to pay for their healthcare directly, but doctors are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of patients they have to see. In cases where the emergency room is full, ambulances wait in a queue before patients are allowed in. While there are options to purchase private insurance out of pocket for better healthcare or through a private employer, the amount of British citizens who have private insurance is only 10.5%.

In America most citizens who work full time hours are covered. In a 2017 study by the United States Census Bureau, over 91% of American citizens had some form of health insurance. 56% percent of Americans had insurance through their employer, 19.3% through Medicaid, 17.2% through Medicare, 16% through direct payment, and 4.8% through the military.

Mick Jagger’s celebrity status and wealth helped him afford a different quality of care. This shows that if people are able to afford better, faster healthcare, they will take advantage of that option. The census study from 2017 also shows that if American citizens have the option to avoid being on government healthcare they will.

People should be cautious in calling for universal healthcare based on what we have seen in England with hospitals and doctors being overwhelmed. If we move to universal healthcare in the US, we might seem similar problems to what England faces now.

I have too many of my own sins to deal with to worry about things that may or may not be sin for another person. Homosexuality is not a problem for me.

I hear you.
Not my problem.
I do pray they will accept Gods plan and psychiatric help.

You should Also Be Reporting them. I report over 100 a day at times. Blocking don't do Jack and is Pointless to stop them, so REPORT THEM!

I can only report them after they have messaged me.
If I report them before that and they turn out to not be scammers, I could catch backlash.

Almighty God only created 2 sexes.
From no fault of their own, I recognize a third sex. Hermaphrodites.
3 and only 3 naturally occurring sexes.
The others, fictional, are mental issues and need to be prayed for.
As far as religions and cults.
Some accept them and condone the behavior. Others throw them off high rooftops.

Now, tell me WHY you believe anyone needs a fully or semi-automatic waeapons..also caled "assault weapons"?

2nd Amendment. Gun ownership/bearing arms is a right.

Tell me why you believe anyone needs to speak or sing? Or congregate on internet forums? Or worship a god? Or be protected from search and seizure? Or be tried by jury?

No one needs to justify their rights to anyone else, let alone a government.
We could outlaw a lot of things if we start winnowing it down to what one person defines another "needs."

Laws aren't there to define "needs" by which people have to adhere to/justify themselves in order to express their rights.

Do you also have an issue with doing background checks on prospective gun owners to weed out those with mental illness or history of domestic abuse/ assault?

Sort of.
"Mental illness" is a rather broad term.
Not to mention, psychologists and doctors are not elected officials.
They are fallible and not absolutely impartial or unbiased.
Also psychiatry, psychology, medicine is constantly changing, being relabeled. People used to have Asperger's. That's no longer a diagnosis.
Look up "Drapetomania."

Other than that, background checks aren't there to determine if someone should be allowed to do something, just to check to see if there's something that prevents.

Huge difference between mental illness and domestic abuse/assault. The latter are crimes. Violations of the rights of someone else. They go through a trial process.
Having a mental illness is not a crime. It doesn't violate another persons rights, nor (unless they're found legally mentally incapable, such as an i.q. under 75, or insane) do they go through a judicial process where they can argue against it.

I have a problem with background checks by the government to try and dig up dirt in order to keep someone from expressing their rights, especially without their say in the matter e.g. "mental illness/red flag laws."
I don't have a problem with background checks to determine if someone has a current legal injunction against their expressing their right.
People that go to prison, do their time, can/should sue for removal of injunctions against their ability to express their rights.

"Laws" don't magically keep people from doing things.
"Laws" are simply threats. They aren't "supposed" to be a tool for social engineering. Only "if you do x, y are the consequences." With "x" and "y" clearly defined as objectively as possible.

I do not believe any good law can come from "we think you may possibly do something bad sometime, because these people with Dr. in their name say so, or agree with us, then that gives us license to suspend/abridge your rights, and the onus is on you, the individual, on your dime, to prove us, the government, wrong. Prove your innocence and we'll remove the guilty verdict."

So, TLDR, IMO no one needs to justify their ownership of a semi/fully automatic rifle, anymore than you need to justify speaking.
And IMO the government does not have inherent rights to abridge individual rights.
The onus is on the government to prove/justify their abridging of rights, not on the individual to justify/prove their expression of rights.

Well put.

you have to 'justify' speaking if it incites actions that are harmful to others. Rights are not absolutes, just saying.

Gun confiscation has already killed several law abiding citizens.
The liberals have fired the first shots.

Sanctuary Cities in Virginia-----GOOD
Sanctuary Cities in Texas ------BAD

How to keep Texas Red.
Texas incumbent Republicans must think outside the box......First, legalize pot and use the tax funds for property tax relief. This snatches up the younger vote and helps property owners. Spring that on the liberals and you'll rock them. No, I'm not advocating its use, I'm recognizing reality, Mexico is talking about legalizing it and if that happens, tourist money will flow south. Consider; Colorado has tax revenue of a billion dollars from this and they have a population of less than 6 million...we have over 28.7 million. Will there be problems....of course, but we have other states to learn from and the bottom line is you don't take the freedoms of responsible, law abiding citizens to make it easier to catch irresponsible ones. Further, we could sell permits to tourist to consume it while visiting and the tax money would be immense, our social services well funded, and biggest of all....property tax relief.
Second, strongly plan for and enforce deportation, voter ID and E Verify while prosecuting sanctuary city officials.....birthrates and sanctuary cities don't matter anymore if we lost the buffet style enforcement of our laws.
Third, require 10 years residency to vote in this state's elections so the liberals fleeing liberal bastions can't screw with our success story. They must vote absentee from their former states in national and then wait to vote in local elections.... till then...and this will be challenged in the courts but, there is nothing about where you must vote or terms of residency....just that you have the vote in the constitution, you come here voluntarily so you play by our state's rules....I voted absentee for many years when I was in the military and if it's good enough for military, then it's likely too good for liberals fleeing the mess they voted in.
Next, tax all money transfers out of this country by wire/mail. Change asylum rules so asylum seekers must apply at consulates and not at the border and the numbers are then limited to what that facility can handle.....otherwise they get turned away in another country. No more catch, release and disperse....an insane policy. Put in place a moratorium on all immigration till the millions here illegally are deported or whatever.
Last, support a constitutional convention of the states to repeal the 17th Amendment, close the anchor baby loop hole in the 14th and a few other things. Is there a risk in doing that?....of course but, when the enemy is within your gates....all options have risk.
Do those things and then don't ever allow any Republican to run EVER in violation of a party plank....like Bush. Look at voting records for folks like Will Hurd and refuse to allow candidates like him to put an R next to his name in any election....or even now. Vet all Republican Candidates and never let a political slot go unchallenged......Show some backbone or sit back and relax.
G.Gobel.
