You didn't answer the question: Now, tell me WHY you believe anyone needs a fully or semi-automatic waeapons..also caled "assault weapons"? Do you also have an issue with doing background checks on prospective gun owners to weed out those with mental illness or history of domestic abuse/ assault? Plus I am aware what "rifling" is....and that shotguns do not have that. Assault is an action. According to you description of the law, any weapon with rifling can be confiscated. As I already stated. Anyone holding a Carry permit has gone through a background check. Now, what's the plan for stripping terrorists and other active criminals of firearms. |

No one wants your actual hunting rifles or regular shotguns or handguns... I have both a .22 rifle and a handgun..in case you were going to say I must hate guns. "The legislation would have banned the importation, manufacture, sale, transfer, and possession of what it termed “assault firearms.” The term was defined to include any semi-automatic centerfire rifle with a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 10 rounds or any semi-automatic centerfire rifle that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine and has one of several enumerated features. These features included, a folding or telescoping stock, a pistol grip, a thumbhole stock, a second handgrip, a bayonet mount, a silencer, a flash suppressor, a muzzle brake, a muzzle compensator, or a threaded barrel. The legislation also would have banned commonly-owned semi-automatic shotguns and centerfire pistols with any one of several prohibiting features. According to your description, your rife and handgun would be illegal there. Threaded barrels. The only weapon that doesn't have a threaded barrel is a shotgun. |

1. the House votes on Articles of impeachment (2 charges) 2. the leaders of House & Senate agree on rules of trial 3. AFTER agreement on rules the trial commences 4. the Senate acting as jurors take an oath to be fair and unbiased 5. the evidence is provided according to the rules of agreement 6. the jurors decision is limited to remove/or not remove the president... that is it, nothing else---if the Senate votes to remove the president he now is considered no more than any other citizen and can be prosecuted for any criminal charges brought against him... if they vote not to remove he will remain and business of the government will go forth as usual... Trump HAS been IMPEACHED, that will never change it is still unknown if he will remain... at present we are on step number 2 Thank you for the concise explanation.  Also reported, Pelosi is guilty of quid-pro-quo for withholding this impeachment until her demands are met. |

my Anglo Saxon-American neighbor flies the Confederate Flag on his private property. it's the only flag he flies. is that also disrespectful in your esteemed opinion ??? What part of two flags don't you comprehend? If it's the only heritage flag he flies, no problem. If he also flew the US flag, proper etiquette would be, flying the US higher. However, the point was, if you're American, the country one identifies with should come AFTER American. See the examples in the original post. |
