Topic: Why are younger/older men/women more appealing?

Just asking?
What is your opinion?
Let's get feisty and argue about what age appeals to you?

If I see a 20 something with a 50 something, what business is it of mine, or yours?
Love comes in all shapes, colors, ages.
What age appeals to you, or is it the person?

To me maturity matters more than age. I don't care about age while dating.

I am not curious about younger men. What do you mean please? Or am I an exception to the rule?

There are no rules, men like young and old...I have seen beautiful ladies in 60s that I would choose over younger. I have also seen nice young ladies....so, it depends

The age in itself is just a number as long as both partners are compatible with each others level of maturity and with their goals and preferences, hobbies, etc. I have seen 20 year olds that were more mature than many in their 30's and even beyond. Then there are also those people that never "grow up". And older ones that can really relate to a much younger age group. There are also quite a few young women that prefer older men (and most of them - at least the ones that seek a real long term, serious relationship - do not have "father issues").

No offense, but your profile clearly states you want a certain age group, so you can have children. Age obviously matters to you and that is fine.

Thank you for sharing. I personally will not get with a younger man unless he already has children. It seems having children is a huge part of human make up.

Not having children is the attraction for over 50s

I wasn't answering for me, I was answering your question in general. Like I said some people prefer other age groups for several reasons and preferences. And yes, this is one reason - there is no offense...

You said it. I love being child free, having my child independent and having my freedom

But when you are 71, say she gets pregnant straight away, you will be 70 something. Is that responsible parenting? My 21 year old needs her mother now and in the years to come.

I feel the same way. No more kids at home. At some point you're done with that. I will not give up my freedom.

I can't help but think that when there's a huge age gap one has a problem.
Someone I know is in her late forties and fell for a man in his late 70s. I believe the man can barely walk, and he looks really old as well.
Maybe it is love, but I find it hard to believe. I tend to think there's some underlying issue, from her part mostly. She has serious health & money issues, so maybe a subconscious craving for a father-figure.

Personally I wouldn't want someone much younger, if younger at all. For reason of maturity and both being at the same phase in life. Since women are generally more mature than men I'd rather have one the same age or up to 5 yrs older.

I already won't date Aries or Leos.
I won't date those born during the year
of the pig, or the year of the dragon.
I may add year of the monkey to that list.

Age? None of my business, who does what to whom
for how many college food points.
