¿How many of you can say you have really lived...?

Traveled to a far away land
Skydiving
White water rafting
Partying with celebrities
etc.

I may be young and haven't experienced as much about life as most of you on here but I sure have done a whole lot more than some other people out there my age. I know three people in their twenties whom don't go school, don't work, and won't even take the initiative to get a driver's license; they just sit around on their computers and drink.

I've never sky dived, but I have traveled around the world and been white water rafting. Not sure I would want to party with celebs though. Who really wants to deal with the stalkerazzi?

Your friends apparently need a good swift kick into reality.

I don't doubt it, I'm not going to begin to get into all the druggies and alcoholics wasting away their lives.

traveled to different countries...that's always fun. Celebs...no, but I don't really see how that'd be any better than hanging with my close friends and family. I have a nephew...THAT is living. I've loved. And paitballing is awesome!

The point is who is taking initiative with their lives and who are sitting on their fat lazy @$$es not doing a d*** thing.

I've never done those things, but I've played in bands, had much fun as a DJ, been to ball games, been to hell, been drunk & passed out on a neigbors lawn, been high & put BK to work, hell I've even lived sitting on my arse playing videos games...lol. It's not so much what you do, it's how you walk away from the experiance;^]

Living life has nothing to do with actions like skydiving or partying with stars. Living life is doing what you want to do on your own terms. If skydiving is what you want to do, go for it. A woman giving birth and nurturing her child is living life also...

I agree with you and Turtlepoet but part of what this comes down to either if you died today would you be content with your life or when you're fifty can you look back and be happy at all that you've done. Being parent of the year for your children is an awesome thing in it's own right but there are people out there that really are not doing much of anything.

Why worry about being content when you die? Why not just focus on being content one day at a time, you only live once (as far as we know) and if you spend all your time worried about how happy or sad your death will be, how will you be able to stop and enjoy this moment;^]

In the end I want to know that I have done something with my time here and that I have made the most of my life. As previously stated it's all relative to the person as to how they live/view their life.

Well that's all you, living life is something differant for everybody, it's too subjective. Maybe the better question would be, "what do you hope to accomplish in life and what are you doing to make it happen". Positive;^]
