I dunno. Maybe everyone here is imaginary. After I set my age and location filter. I receive no messages. Lots of views. Apparently all those viewers are outside my criteria and cannot message. Which is better than getting lots of messages from people who would waste my time.

I forgot that we can set some filters.

Consider the fact many of your age/generation that may be single in your area might not use the internet, let alone, Mingle 2.

If location proximity is important to your preferences, you might try the different venues in your area where your targets might frequent.
Hardware stores, bowling alleys, fishing spots, hunting/sportsman stores or clubs.

Many men in your age group that are single are retired. They probably shop at the same places where you shop and have interests with the same things you are interested in.
Some may also be willing to travel to see you so expanding your search radius might help.
At the very least, you might be able to meet enough of a range of gents to determine what their common interests might be so you can taylor your searches locally at those venues.

Same here. I've deleted a lot of people. Sad thing is i live in the mountains. Away from anything interesting i have to go 50 miles at least.

Yes, we all get some useless mail and there are some filters although they do not work very well for some folks. Just remember when you set those filters that you may be eliminating a number of potentials by setting your filters too tight. Sometimes people have a perception of what they are not willing to accept based on some negative experience and apply that perception to all who fall within a similar demographic. For instance, he/she is too far away. What you may not know is that he/she is moving in your direction or just happens to have family living in your area and visits regularly. Same goes for age limits, not everyone of a given age is the same in appearance or attitude. Better to cast a wider net and throw back a few rejects.

My ‘block’ list is longer than my ‘like ‘ list ! Far to many scammers on here and guys who just want to play games !
