Topic: Why 504 time out all the time (again)?

Is there something happening at the moment that causes the forum to time out with a 504 error all the time? I can barely get to the forums or do anything.

If I were a betting man, I would put money it was a DDOS attack from an upset "customer."

Twas really bad today alright, but Kristy was posting somewhere, tech support are notified Okay. Today was indeed bad! Worst I've ever seen it in some 7 years of Mingle.

I also experienced getting kicked to the timeout curb multiple times... sometimes it would be satisfying to see a status notification message across the top when there is a huge problem

Been terribly slow for days now, possible kink in the server phone line? Server needs a new 56k modem perhaps?
