It's called a holiday, here in the UK, but the best holiday I've ever been on, was the one I got married on, in Mauritius, in 2014. Sadly my wife died from Cancer, last year, but that was still the best holiday, I've ever been on!:sunglasses::beer::grin:

What did you enjoy the most about Mauritius? I live there most of the year.

Not been there yet but Scotland is nr 1 on my bucket list.

I've always loved England too! Sure as heck would want to go there, Somerset is great! I'd like to go back to Glastonbury and then not be ill, hihi. But also exploring the area around it.
And go to Stonehenge, in the inner circle with a special ticket!

Also still heart broken about missing out on New Orleans when I was in the USA :'(
I'd love to go there one day.

And back to Uluru, Australia! love But that's a very costly one, hihi.
Let's first see I get to Scotland at some point!

Too many places i want to see. But right now i want to be back at Reddington Beach in Florida. i love the wildlife there. Dolphins swam right up to us. We saw sting rays and birds and turtles. A dolphin swam into a man there though and hurt him pretty bad! I just want that familiar feeling of the place right now. But i do wanna see the sakura in Japan.

Getting married on the beach Shelley, that's what I liked the most about there. Had another ceremony back here in Scotland, just for our families though!:sunglasses:

Never been in an rv, but like to visit small towns and parks. Get off the interstate when possible. Road trips around the US are the best.

Cat, the Scottish Comedian Billy Connolly, did a few shows for British TV, a few years ago called Route 66, starting in Chicago. Brilliant so it was. Here's the link to the first one and the rest are on YouTube also, if you want to watch it?:sunglasses:

Did the cross country roadtrips about four times. It's best to stay out of cities but a few exceptions.

In that show Cat Billy Connolly, goes to the sort of places that you could easily overlook on Route 66. I might take my son for a road trip along it when he's a bit older, as he's only 5 just now, but it's one for the notebook though!:sunglasses:

Good deal Larsson. The things that happen on a road trip, can only happen there.

My ideal would be with a partner, and 4x4 and boat, exploring coasts and national parks, bush camping, fishing, surfing, bushwalking, visiting small country towns for supplies and local tips on secret places very few know about, and interesting farm stays, staying away from the madding crowds at tourist places. All I need is a partner.

Nice. I know that's a big festival. Not why I want to go there though, haha. To be honest I feel it's a shame they decided to hold those there. Plenty of other nice places, even in the area. The reason is probably similar to putting a main road right up to Stonehenge and another road right through the Avesbury stonecircles.
I'm interested in power places, yet 'they' are out to ruin them with roads or a festival.

There's power places in Scotland too. That's what I'm interested in, as well as the people, and Culloden! If it were up to me I'd start there, hihi.
It was similar when I went to London. Plenty to see there, but I was really only interested in the Tower of London.

There was a stone circle area, at Glastonbury, when I was there last year. I remember that area, as all the hippies and stoners, were up there. There's a few sites up the North of Scotland and The Orkneys too, that have standing stones also. My favourite place though is the Isle of Skye, as it's just a magical place Crystal. I could defo see you not wanting to leave there, as it's just something about Skye, that makes you not want to leave. If I could move my business up there without affecting anything I would.:sunglasses:
