No, I'm afraid we're dinosaurs. Since I moved back here (Nebraska) I've noticed that your chances of actually TALKING to someone are more likely here than other areas.
Your best bet is meeting people locally.
Be careful here, very few are as they appear.
I'm sure you know this but never send anyone money in any form.

I do prefer a phone call or video chat over texting for the simple reason I don't text or have a smart phone, but I only prefer a call if I feel there is some simpatico which comes from chatting here first....

I have maybe two people that I talk to on the phone. The rest is text and email or in person.
