I don't know how this got spun into a quality/quantity thing. My response was to the OP and it seems to me you could have a quality relationship in 19 or 20 years

I can only speak for myself, but I went with what I was thinking in reference to the regrets topic that you mentioned. We all have them, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who can say that they let someone slip away from them, but rather than taking away from the situation a bunch of regrets and what ifs, I tried to learn from the mistakes that I had made. But quality/quantity can also come into play if a person was using quantity of people to fill a void, but realized the mistake too late. (guilty of this myself). I think that it's open to much interpretation and perspective.

That's logical thinking but ya also gotta realize there may be no defined fault which you can correct.

Part of gaining wisdom (which helps you make better choices) is to learn from all experiences, not just the errors.

You can do everything right.
You can say everything right.
But...If that person is not the right person for you, it won't matter.
The fault/problem may not be in how you act or how you interact but with the choice of person you choose to invest yourself in.

Wisdom is built upon, not replaced.
