Should I take my kids to get vaccinated for Corona? They said they are scared of dying from it, lol. I want to wait longer before I allow them to, since the vaccine is still new. I have also seen lots of stories about people dying from it and others experiencing serious side effects.

I've heard of some health care workers who got the vaccine and had issues, because they also had asthma, but they were adults. I don't about children.

We are not experts here. I would get advice elsewhere for something so important.

At this time Covid shots are only for those that are 16 and above in most areas.. And that is most likely if they have underlying issues.

At the time it is mainly only Healthcare, those that are older or have issues.

I would do a lot of research before I considered a child for the vaccine..

What I read it will be the later part of 2021 before they consider giving kids under 16 a Covid shot..

But always do your research...

If they have approved the vaccine it must be safe, they have done 3 trials, however some people will have problem. 1 in 1000 dies of anaesthetic, People die of penicillin too. But generally it is safe.

i have listened to the negative stuff about vaccines all my life....77 years.....we got rid of almost all childhood diseases, then people sneaked into this country and brought them with them, they are back....to all the negative people "come up with something better" then....we know if we do nothing a lot more people are going to die.....

The choice to vaccinate your children against covid19,
lies ultimately between you, and your conscience.

While the currently available vaccines are recommended
for those, ages 16 and above...

Pfizer and Moderna, are both looking for ginnea pigs...
errr... I mean... Test subjects, between the ages of
12 and 16.

I would wait so you have an idea what happens with ppl who've gotten it. Of course not all side-effects will show up fast, it is possible it takes (a few) years.
If you prioritize your children's health or not is entirely up to you. I'd not get them vaccinated. And certainly not the mRNA version. I wouldn't want to be the one to ruin my offspring's health for the rest of their life.
So at the very least I'd wait. Kids aren't really the ones who fall ill of this anyway, and when bearing in mind that 97% recovers... why even bother?

The childhood disease vaccines that Cleve spoke of are different. These are for illnesses with severe side-effects, including death, brain damage, infertility etc etc, that affect children.
Not the case with Covid, nor does it have severe side-effects.

The vaccine is only for adults. Kids aren't allowed.
