if so, so what? men are attracted to LOOKS, good genes and money. we are visual, looks are what catches our eyes. period. both sexes would like to have a attractive mate. i know i do. good genes; women and men, instinctually want our offspring to be strong and healthy, keeps the good bloodlines flowing. period. money? again, our instincts look to provide and be provided safety and shelter for our selves and our children. period. short term goals, like sex and material desires, are superficial. as for power, in men's goals, women are attracted to that, the alpha male gets the best.

It’s true for me. I like my guy to be attractive, to me; be currently single; and be able to support themselves. I don't think this is quite what the OP was thinking. And I doubt with 'status' he was talking about single, married etc. This, what you say, is quite normal. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t what he was generalizing too. It just wasn’t even worthy of defending for me. |

If i am wrong prove it.. Hi Chris .. I haven’t peeked at your profile so not sure of your age or country of birth . Cultural influences can shape preferences of what men and women find attractive in the opposite sex . For instance in many African cultures , larger body size (in terms of BMI) is associated with status . In the western world It is more likely to be associated with obesity and the stigma that entails . I am curious how much of your culture is responsible for your perception of women and what they want . If a woman prioritises looks, money and status that is entirely her right . Nowadays It is becoming increasingly more common for modern women to be highly educated , have their own status and money (in my country at least ) . If you are looking for an excuse to rationalise your lack of success with women then perhaps look at your own expectations . preferences and attitude. |

If i am wrong prove it.. well I have had men in my life ... that could give me everything I ever wanted ... walk away ... I have had men in my life that where poor ... walked away ... I have had men that tried to control me with money ...walked away ... right now I am single and happy that I don't have to have a man ... in my life to get by ... took a lot of my youth away to get here ...  but I am ok with that |
