I finally hit my savings goal for vacation. I've got 6 weeks of time built up. Now it's just a matter of when and where. I'm so excited to see new places and sorta new faces!!!!

Phew I think I'm learning. I was talking to this guy and it went well. But then today he said maybe we should move to phoning, and that he'd been thinking of coming over for the weekend to a camping, or claiming my garden.
Right. Instant resistance from my end. Problem when living further apart is that you cannot just meet for coffees, it means an entire day at least. I'm reluctant to do that. Been there before and then you get meet & greet and date 1-4 in one go. WAY too fast! And very awkward if you don't like him. As I was thinking I realised what he'd told me: he's in bed for 2nd day now only because he's HSP and his sister visited, upsetting him, and he couldn't handle it. In bed for 2 days, totally knocked out because of that? WAIT A MINUTE!! I need a man who is in touch with his feelings, yes, but I also need a man who is strong and can handle things in life. If you collapse under your sister's pressure... Not for me! I'm happy I realised this. This guy is no way where I am yet, far from it, and I'm not interested in again carrying someone. I want to stand next to each other, hand in hand, side by side. Equals, complementing. Not me being a crutch. |
