It's hard to feel alone during the holidays. You could plan something at your home and invite others rather waiting for an invite. Most churches gather for Christmas service and that's a great way to be with others. You could volunteer at a shelter or even a nursing home to be with others many are alone with no visitors. You can also choose this time to be just you and God. In any event I'm sure there will be your friends here in the forums playing the games and chatting. I do hope you find a way to ease your depression and lonely heart. I pray for you a peaceful and happy holiday season. ((Hugs)) only 3 friends, 2 are doing things with their family, other friends deceased, the 1 i may go see, depends on if her ex, or her son comes over, if they do, in not welcome, if they dont, I can come for Lasagna, or if leave early I can, but who knows. she is afraid to lose her free help to be seen with a guy, and refuses to date me, but been friends 40+ years. as for helping like nursing home, I have donated lots over the years, but im not welcome to volunteer as you have to be vacinated to be there in any capacity, unless visiting a family member or friend. so nope its out. I will probably drive 65 miles away to eat at Waffle House, but i am already positive will be worst Christmas in my life. |

Feeling really happy I didn't go to the shop to get the milk frother.
It costs E79,99 (same in USD) but I can get it for free with the coffee tokens I've been saving for decades! But... right now it's on sale so it's E20 (20USD) cheaper! ANd also less coffee tokens. So I'm glad I waited. I might go and get it tomorrow. Don't want to risk it being sold out!

Feeling happy I accidentally saw the postman's delivery van as he was about to leave. I hadn't heard the doorbell at all. It's a mechanical one, much like a bicycle bell, but then somewhat larger and on the frontdoor.
Lucky me I still got my parcel as I was really looking forward to having it! And... I ordered a wireless doorbell, so I can plug in the receiver anywhere I want it :) |

I've been using it since it arrived Saturday. Loving it! I'm having a moonstone crave -a new one on me, hihi- and wearing my silver rainbow moonstone ring, moonstone bracelet and drinking moonstone water

Is that a moonstone chicken in the background? Well... moonstone does come in a variety of colours, even black, pink, salmon. But I have yet to see a multicoloured one that is mostly red, so I'm sorry to have to disappoint you! I did see that she wasn't wearing her woolly hat yet, something I do every autumn/winter season and then remove it in spring. But that's sorted already! Gotta keep her warm, especially now that it's freezing!

Laughing again after an EFT tapping session on complaining, which I found myself doing while trying to work out my new wireless doorbell.
And now occasionally pressing the doorbell -which isn't attached to the front door yet- to have the wireless receiver go "DING DING DING DONG!" behind me At first it was stuck at "DING DONG WOOF WOOFFF WOOFFF!!" A barking dog to finish it off which I really don't need. My li'l Nila decided to seek another place to snooze  Right underneath the chair that my other cat is sleeping on. Normally they don't get this close, but I guess Nila decided it was better than be close to me and the weird ding dong & dog sound

Happy! Meat for 1st & 2nd Christmas Days is in tha house!
You have to occasionally drive at least 15 mins when there's frost so I decided I'd give it a whirl, and Lo' and behold, car started right away without hiccups! I figured I might as well drive to the supermarket on the other end of the island as they have smaller T-bone steaks and wonderful lamb. Happy I did, sun was out, glorious weather, and my car battery has had a chance to recharge :) |

Im extremely pleased with myself. Both my boys just celebrated birthdays. They think I didn't get them anything due to low on funds. They never complained or acted disappointed. They're extremely good and understanding. They never ask for it but I know they've been wanting super smash brothers for their Nintendo switch. I got it for them but I couldn't give it to them because I rented a movie theater and invited their best friends to play it on the big screen. That and Mario cart. We have 2 hours game time and 1 hour in the party room. They're gonna be soooo surprised.
