Why is it that when I offer to pay on a date and the guy tries to play the I earn more so it's fine, but when I tell them my salary they go sheepish and then don't tend to want to see me again?

I guess some guys are intimidated when a woman makes more than them. Personally if the guy wants to pay for me I’m cool with that but then I’d tell him the next one is on me.

If you offer to pay for both and he still can’t get past it I’d move on and find someone who can. |

Some guys are 'old school' when it comes to paying on a date, maybe you need to establish who pays on a date beforehand, certainly a first date. |

Stupid male pride. Now I enjoy paying sometimes. Treating the other person. Money, outside of eha5 I need to live, means little to me

I wouldn't even tell a woman what I earn, as people where I live know that I own my own Construction company, as my name is on the vans that drive about, all over Scotland! I pay, on a date, because I can pay. I've never asked a woman for anything except my mum, when I was younger. Since I left School, at 18 though, I've been self sufficient!
