i don't think it's a simple question. I don't think it should be a form of birth control but there are other factors involved and until you are in that situation it's hard to say what you would do

worth repeating JMO

Pro-choice, I can't place my belief on anyone. However, for the sake of agruement(which thats probably what you want anyway)A child that can live outside the womb is viable, therefore should be considered murder. But, if you scrape the inside of your mouth and put the cells on a slide, did you just commit murder as well. When I had an etopic pregancy they had to remove, was that murder or didn't I have the right to live?

i guess I am both sides. I don't think it should be used as birth control, but i know there are many other factors involved that until in the position...who can say what anyone would do

I'm truly sorry about your pregnancy flowerforyou

Thank you! birth control, no. i would love to think that one day women will have enough common sense. Those who are battered and abused, we reach out and give them a hand up. Kick the living daylights out of the dirtballs who do this. Maybe we should start giving guys vestectomies (sp). how about girls!

i agree...something should be done for both sexes. just not sure what. i am on the fence about when a girl gets pregnant but the dad wants the baby though.

I have to agree with you there. Recently, a divorced couple were in court over frozen embyros. The man wanted them destroyed and he won. He didn't want to be obliged to pay child support. I feel for her, well both. It is a confusing, complicated subject.

laugh My suggestion was not so drastic, I suggested salt peterlaugh and then we would not have so many unwanted pregnancies. Both parties should be responsible enough not to have unprotected sex and then if a pregnancy happens decide what to do based on individual beliefs.

Then there is the problem of 'unwed fathers' who don't want to take any responsibility for the child they have just created.

You might disagree, but I think this is the largest problem in society today.

Unwed fathers=Unwanted children, who, if they don't have enough discipline in their lives, may turn to criminal activity when they grow up, eventually increasing the prison population.

lol hiker...not sure your stance on this one yet...but in defense of the men lol

there are men that WANT to raise the kids even if it's by themselves...snce i'm unsure about my stance on it...how do you as a man feel? no pressure laugh

and as far as the men...the women have their share of the blame too...as long as it's not a raped or incest

I don't see anything wrong with men wanting to raise kids but think it's better if the kids have both parents around, even if they are only visiting with one.
