This law was passed in Maryland... I believe just in Montgomery county... but what were they thinking...

Bill 23-07 adds “gender-identity” to the current Non-Discrimination Law, and will allow males who self identify themselves as females to have open access to ALL women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, and showers. In other words, a male teacher or student will be able to use the female restrooms and locker rooms if he thinks he is a female.

Oh, yucky. When I was showing English Springer Spaniels (years ago) there was a judge (male) who was going through a sex change operation. Very nice person, but I made sure he/she was not headed to the restroom same time I was.

He later decided to not go through with the rest of the sex change operation. I think people must really be confused inside when they are not sure which sex they are or want to be. Sad, really.

I personally find it quite disgusting...Maybe I am just an old male chauvinist pig, but, I believe that there is a place for men and a place for women in many respects. In each others bathrooms and lockerrooms in a public place is not one of those places. Once again, thanks to the liberals that were elected by "you" the ppl for this brilliant law.
