question is it hard to date and have serious relation ship with some one 12 years younger then you????????/ in aspect of one person being late thirtys other person being ealrly to mid 20s??????????????

Personally, it would be difficult to date someone 12 years younger than me. They usually have younger children, which is deal-breaker for me.

Age is just a number. If you care for that person and the feelings are mutual (and legal) it is great.

I'm young so I would only date within 2 years. Older it really depends on the girls feelings for an older man. If you're 40 and she's 21 probably not the best idea.

the older you get the less age will matter to you

I make it a rule now... i would date a 23(wouldnt date anyone under that age. just personal reasons) women but i would diffenet let her know.... i am looking for keeps if u are not.. then we dont need to start anything.

....Man, I them younger girls, too, but, I've also been having to seriously rethink my position on this subject for a while, so here's what I gotten so far.....
.....Having the relationship isn't the hard part in that situation, if you get along well enough and share common interests, the age difference won't matter. However, there are so many other hurdles to get over.
.....Will the relationship survive the initial onslaught of negativity from (her) friends and family, who in their own special way (EEEEWWWW, he's, like, soooooo OLD...), will attempt to "talk some sense" into them for the first month or two.......
.....Let's say yes. Fine, but that seed has been planted and now owns that part in (her) brain, for future reference. That, and the fact that these people can't wait to say I told ya so, when the time is right. Just a thought.....

I say it depends on the person....not the age. I have been with some older women and a few younger and there are some younger that are way more mature than some of the older women.
