I know that feeling my nephew posted my pic's but he's short on the patience when it comes to explaining to his old aunt lol
I still can't access my smileys one minute they are there the next they dissapear I think it is my computer and spell check don't see it at all. lol

This past winter I got stuck in sis's driveway half in half out car blocking the sidewalk.Out of the blue a pickup pulls over and two guys jump out push me out, dumbfounded and tongue tied I couldn't muster up much more than a thankyou.Dam the driver had a smile to melt my heart.grumble,grumble.Never seen them again but I think they live in the area.I think I have seen the truck around.lol

Carolanne, you really need to get out more. We men don't bite. Think of us as friends you'd like to make. That's usually the best approach with us. Don't ask us silly questions like we're applying for a job. Ask us things that you'd like to know about us as people.

I think maybe I have given you the wrong impression about myself.Although I do get tongue tied and abit shy I think I am a pretty good conversationalist I don't profess to know alot about any peticular topic(except quilting because it is something that I am passionate about) but I think I know enough about different subjects that you wouldn't be bored.lol I have learned over time that the woman you eases the tension of a first date the fastest wins the race.smile Cheers to new friends!

Carolanne, several of widowed ladies have told me, it is hard starting a conversation with men they have just met. Years of being married & now alone, causes a bit of anxiety. No worries just keep trying, church events, talk more with neighbors or just talk more here. Practice makes perfect.
