i believe that some predictions come true and that it is hard to
pinpoint an exact date and time alot of times but i also think that alot of people are make things fit that shouldn't. alot of the predictions are so vague that people twist them into whatever they want. too many people feel the need to have an answer for something that they are not meant to know. i just make sure i'm doing what i need to do and leave the premonitions and predictions to the so called "experts". i don't need to know that stuff in order to be a good person and it does not hurt me one bit to not know because if i do the best that i can none of it is going to make a difference. the end of the world,WW3 or the antichirst won't have any effect on that part. |

oh by the way the world won't end for a long time actually but may end
as we know it now anytime, you've got at least 7 yrs tribualtion period and the millinium rule of Christ walking on earth. The actual end is a ways off according to the bible, Christ calling his people home? That's anytime. |

My thoughts on the book of Mormon, is that sadly, it's all a hoax.
Where did these writings come from? If Jesus was here when the Mormons believe he was, then the only people inhabiting North America were the Aboriginal Peoples. The Natives didn't use the written word to tell stories, but used word of mouth and the occassional pictogram. How did these writings come about??? Who would have written them down at a time when the people that were here didn't write? And what "language" were they originally written in? Being a Christian, I'm willing to admit that there are some holes in our belief to cause people who don't understand faith to just view the "impossibility" of it all. But I'll tell ya, the Mormon theory has a hole big enough to drive an Exxon tanker through. Not to put them down, at least THEY try to live their beliefs. My g/f has a doctor that's Mormon, and if you're a vet of ANY war, he doesn't charge you for his services. |

I do admit I kinda understand why atheists and agnostics don't believe
in God. Actually had this very discussion a coupl'a days ago with some friends at my place here..One was agnostic and the other was Muslim. It COULD seem kinda strange that if God is such a loving, kind, compassionate God, why would He deny entrance into Heaven to someone that tried their best to live good and decent lives? People that give back to the communities they live in. Take time out of their day to help someone that needs it etc etc... But because they didn't make that leap of faith, they can't get in. Doesn't really seem fair does it? We are ALL sinners Ghost. Not believing in God or who Jesus really is, isn't actually a sin. One other general point. The term "Born again Christian" is redundant. You're not a Christian until YOU have consciously made that decision to make Jesus your personal Savior. That's what Christianity is all about. If all you've done is attend Church services every Sunday but haven't made a commitment to Jesus, then yer not a Christian, yer someone that just believes in God. |

I think we just might see the end of the world, or at least the
existance of humans. Especially with the way Bush is tryin to piss everybody off! |
|

Redmange has a point. I think it will not really be the End of the
world, but it will be a definate change. A lot less people, and an end of technological advancement. |
|
|
|
It's the end of the world everyday for somebody. When you die, it'll be
the end of your world, when i die, it'll be the end of mine. That's the way i see it. |

Animal the Born Agains (at least in the born agains I know) Believe that
Good deeds are like a dirty rag to Christ. You have to accept their Christ into your heart (No matter how sinful you are). You see how perverted that all is? Good deeds mean nothing to them. It's like back during the time of Martin Luther. The Church was selling salvation. No matter how devilish you are. It'sall about power and curruption that's all. As the wise Karl Marx Said: "Religion is the opium of the people" And so it stands true even today. Ghost Religion is, indeed, the self-consciousness and self-esteem of man who has either not yet won through to himself, or has already lost himself again. But man is no abstract being squatting outside the world. Man is the world of man—state, society. This state and this society produce religion, which is an inverted consciousness of the world, because they are an inverted world. Religion is the general theory of this world, its encyclopedic compendium, its logic in popular form, its spiritual point d'honneur, its enthusiasm, its moral sanction, its solemn complement, and its universal basis of consolation and justification. It is the fantastic realization of the human essence since the human essence has not acquired any true reality. The struggle against religion is, therefore, indirectly the struggle against that world whose spiritual aroma is religion. Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. [Emphasis added] The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo. |
