here is the situation. there is this girl that I went to school with from 1st grade to 7th grade. I had a crush on her back then. I found her a while back on another site. at the time she was involved with someone. since then she has become single. the only contact I have had is through messengers though. should I ask her out? and if so, how do I go about doing it? If it was me, I'd mention that you always had good memories of her, and ask her out to dinner to catch up

Seriously soldier, you get your freind who is an internet genious to write a neat looking colorful page for an invite out to dinner or coffee. Have him color up the page, and put flowers and borders on it, yet keeping it under so many megs of info so it fits on one page and will easily send through her yahoo messenger. That's kind of a romantic cavalier way to do it which shows you really thought about it in a tactical way. Send her a pretty page asking her out. Psst! Find out her favorite color ahead of time and use it liberally on the invitation page. Good luck.
