Everybody has preferences. Some are just a bit more tactful about how they use them to exclude others. I wouldn't worry about it too much -- his own personal preferences are not universal. I'm sure there are some people you wouldn't want to be involved with, either, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Then he's not worth getting upset over. Ya need people that are going to look at you and the person you are rather than whether you are plus sized or not.
I was out once, right? This guy came up to me and said. Ya know? I really love your eyes, your personality and your smile. You're a lil thick for me. But hey lets get together and we can work on that. I laughed until I had tears and then told him that he wasn't worth it.
