No. I've been there and once we met in person it didn't work out. You NEED to meet first to make sure the chemistry is there.

My philosophy is, until you've had a cup of coffee with someone, you can't be in love with someone. Because too many people online are fakes and put out a persona that isn't them, so one falls for the persona and then the person in real life is something completely different. Emails and phone calls can bring you closer to someone, but can't get you the whole way.

 I think you need to meet in person. What if the person you've been talking to has really bad body odor? Usualloy people who stink don't actually seem to think that they stink so it's not like they would tell you.

I don't think I could fall in love without meeting them in person a lot of times. I don't fall in love quickly.

I know that there are people who are out to trick and hurt people online..Thats why I think you should exchange phone numbers once you think you know the person well enough and call without any type of notice..telling them "Well I'm gonna call at 6pm" will give them time to get their scheme together..I know from experience..it happened to me
