I have a four year old cat called Mitzi, always thought she was tortoiseshell and white but after some research realised she is actually a calico !

I'd hide the cat for a start off, because she loves chocolate and cream and would think they were for her!

I suffer from Fibroids which are non cancerous growths. Mine are in the uterus and the cervix.They were identified from an internal ultrascan a couple of years ago, but in the last few months are giving me more bleeding during a period, large clots being passed and horrendous pain. I have naproxen which I take but it doesn't work for the first hour and the discomfort is so painful.
I don't want to go down the surgery road but I do think I need to go back to my GP and seek some other form of treatment.
I have just had the last week off work on annual leave.For five of those days it was my monthly, for three of them heavy bleeding.Since Wednesday I am constantly tired, in bed at 7pm, napping through the day and I have no energy and get up and go.
I really feel for anyone with suffering with this or pcos or endemitriosis. No one can see the problem and therefore cannot understand the pain a woman goes through.
Katertots, hope you can get some resolve with the treatment, it's not easy being a woman.

What is the point in users doing a profile if no one actually reads it before they start sending messages? Or worse than that, reads it and totally disregards what the person is looking for?
I am looking to make new friends, I state it clearly on my profile, yet today I have had the latest request from men already in a relationship or married, looking to meet up, presumably to cheat on their partner.
Is is so hard to find people who simply want to be friends? I didn't think so, or do some men simply read it as, you say no but you mean yes?
It is just getting a little bit soul destroying that people don't read the contents of a profile first, and just assume as a single female on this side, you must be looking for something else?
Gentlemen, and ladies, I am simply looking for some friends.
Would appreciate some feedback from other users to see if you are having the same problems please.

I don't have a problem with opening doors for anyone at all. I helped a lovely old man having trouble getting off a bus the other day. I am old fashioned, I like a man to be well mannered and polite and I don't like to have to make all the runnning whether it be friendship or relationships.
I have found a nice friend in mdodge,it's a real pleasure to know him, but thats been it. Chatted to people who either are looking for more than I am willing to offer or don't make any effort to get to know me or tell me about themselves when I am looking at them as a friend.
Quite frankly I am getting to the point of giving up.
Nice to hear you open doors for a lady though, I like that :)

I seem to have the same problem sweetheart, people playing me for a fool, sadly for him I wised up to the game.I made it obvious I am only looking for friends, but when people make no effort in return to build that friendship? It's on your bike mate.

I think it does depend on the person and the compatibility.
I am 48 and I have problems convincing people my Daughter is not my friend or my Sister, and that my Grand Daughter who is 18 months old, is actually NOT my child!
I have always seemed to attract younger men, I have never actually dated an older guy. My ex husband was a year younger than me and boyfriends have ranged in ages from 2 to 10 years younger.I do draw the line at a 19 year old, I wouldn't know to do with him! :)

Morning all.
I have just had a series of messages from a guy near me, want to meet etc. I said can I see your photo or how am I going to recognise you?
He admitted he was with someone, and bored, and wanted NSA thats why no photo.
I told him if you are so unhappy with this lady, end it and then start to look for NSA or anything else you want. I have been on the receiving end of a cheat and know how devastating it is to find out your other half has been unfaithful. Guys, and ladies,if you aren't happy in the relationship you are in, get out of it first before you go looking for someone else. The pain you cause when your other half find out? It is just not worth it.

I am single because after a marriage, divorce, couple of LTR and moving to Bristol , where I don't know many people apart from at work, I am not quite sure how to approach a man I guess.
I am very confident at work, it's the nature of my job, but at home and away from work, I don't know anyone enough to go out and socialise with them, and I am not confident enough ever to approach a guy and ask him out.So I go to work, come home, don't have a social life and that's why I am single I suppose......
