Two-Sided People

Two-sided people,
Are the kind you need to watch out for,
One minute they can be nice
The next, you're out the door.
They'll either be there to lift you up
Or they will stab you in the back,
They can be good as an angel
Or the devil with the knack.

Two-sided people,
You have to be very wary of,
They can either hate you
Or give you lots of love.
When they go talking about you
Are they saying very nice things,
Or are they slandering you
Like a million bee stings?

Two-sided people,
These are ones you can't trust,
But aside from all that
You do as you must.
You still live the way God intended
For that's what He would want,
Because you wouldn't want to be judged
Or from heaven to be shunned.

Sticks and stones
You might as well live the theory,
For it's their feelings that get hurt
Not for you to be weary.
So go ahead and live your life
In the most respectable way,
For it is them that will be judged
On that final day.
