I second this emotion. It's rare that somebody takes personal accountability for the decisions they've made in life, and it's refreshing to see it being done. I never post in threads like this, but I just wanted to commend you for expressing strength in such a serious time.

Yes...

I am still clean.

In fact, ironically, I just celebrated my 10th month drug free.

I still remember when it looked like my left side was always cold, one nipple standing up. It disappeared, just faded away with no explanation or forwarding address.

The shock I had, Christmas before last, when I found a lump on the side of my neck and thought it was back. (It was just a glandular blockage.)

I freaked out, but it reminded me to live.
I even took up a motto: bite the bullet.
Did some of the crazy stuff I was afraid to do before.

My point is, weird stuff happens, things come and go.
I could be hit by a car tomorrow, you never know.
Just from what I've seen, you seem like the force of nature type, so if anyone has the pi** and vinegar to kick it and kick it hard, you do.

In the meantime, using the situation for good is a damn fine thing and I respect that.

You're a fighter. If anybody can beat this thing, you're the one.

And I'll be rooting for you every step of the way.

One of my best friends has had it twice...she if fine now...you can do it too!
