Here is BO back during the campaign lying to us. "If we have not gotten the troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do".

How long will the Obamabots put up with the lies? Will they continue to be hypocrites and support BO's illegal wars? what laugh

King B.O. is following the policies of his nasty precedent Administration . He changed his views on many things including GITMO, Iraq.....etc .

He said possibly 16 months to the first withdrawal of troops and that was a guesstimate anyway. He cannot withdraw and put the left over soldiers at risk. So it will take a while to do.

Voters who will not vote against the incumbent and keep sending the same shitheads back to D.C. are the blind fools.

Wannabe King BO has a ring to it.laugh
It is kinda' stankin' in DC. Has been for years. He's a puppet just like the most of his predisessors. He is relly good at keepin' some of the lame followers in their trances.

Let's protest and demand they put President Ron Paul in. He's a true American.

Remember, he meant what he said. "We live in the greatest country in the world. I hope you join me as we change that."
That's the only promise he is keeping and he's working every day to make it worse.

Im curious. .was he to put off doing ANYTHING else until that was done...? Is that why that statement makes him a liar? I believe the sentence is probably out of context of a long list of things he planned to INITIATE,, but he cannot push these things through alone or overnight. I hope voters understood that,, I did.

I don't particularly like Obama

but I dont have a problem with the job he is doing

Iraq is winding down and almost to the point to where we can push the little birdy out of the nest and see if it can fly on its own

Afghanistan, we don't know what he is gonna do yet. whether he'll give it up or turn up the heat

one small problem I do have though, is this thing of the general (Crystal? or something like that) putting together his Afghanistan strategy.

Roosevelt told Eisenhower what to do, not the other way around. Presidents decide strategy, not generals. Generals execute strategy as determined by the president. so in this little thing I think he delegating too much

You know this question always makes me think if people understand the political proccess? The President only represents a peice of 1/3 of our goverment and that's on the federal level! So with that said when the presidential campaign is running it's always laughable when i hear people say what a president has claimed what he will do. Just on the face he does not have the actual power to make such decisions! In this case as the Commander and Cheif he does have conrol over troops, but not the purse strings and you still need a declaration of war "although already in progres"! But even the most intelligent debates don't seem to address this often enough. Only a couple of times have i seen them call them out and say "well you do need congress' support to acomplish that"! I know Bush did not get the decleration of war too! It's just that people don't seem to give credit where credit is due! Like Barney Frank and the housing debacle!

truth to be told, the President (any president) will have about 40% of the people against him

no matter what his politics there will be a LOT of people with opposing politics. the best he can hope for is to have at least 51% of the people for him. because around 40% will be in his political base and another 40% will be in opposition

the ones he has to sway and influence are the 20% or 30% of moderates and independents that can tip him over the balance

How to undue a contract signed by the Bush Admin (US Gov) and his puppet Maliki without tearing apart the word of the US?
Bush, just before leaving office signed an agreement. Remember?
Even if we could just void the agreement it makes us look bad and sets up a suit in International Court over monetary compensation.
Bush did this on purpose and if you dont believe it you are the blind one.

Please do not trick yourself . Fooling others is a virtue but fooling yourself is a crime .laugh .
Do you really believe in these kind of contracts ?. Iraq is a US colony and therefore it is under the US rule . The Maliki puppet government is just following orders from the US .
Even the blind can see the truth one way or another .

Did you even read the post you quoted?
I realize Maliki is a Bush Puppet. I said that.

I also believe in someones word. Esp when it is signed on paper by a Gov of the people like ours. We elected the idiot. This was just his last act of the powers he took as the Decider.
A title he bestowed upon himself in his reckless reign as a self-proclaimed dictator.

Any contract signed by a former president is law. In our Constitution we are bound to honor it.
Even if it means nothing to you it is the bases of our country as dictated by the founding fathers. I am sure it would hold up as such in International Court. A court we helped set up and claim to support.

Actually, I thoroughly understand the political process, and I agree with you. However, 1) It's been hijacked and turned into a quasi-dictatorship since the days of Lincoln. 2) most Americans are Constitutionally illiterate and don't understand what you just said.

All we can do now is try to tip the balance in favor of individual freedom and liberty as best we can.

As in the case with Abortion and Gun-Control.
A President has no power to over-rule the Supreme Court, and yet the anti-obamatites have used these arguments as propaganda since he, a blackman, started his campaign for President.
People were so paranoid and uninformed as to the political process that they ran out buying every gun and ammo box on the shelves. All in fear that he could suddenly reverse the Supreme Court's decision of less than a 1 year before.
