Heh, just keep trying! Finding a nice guy is very feasible. Don't be afraid to look around and say hi to us! After all, sometimes the nicest guys are a bit shy.
Don't be put off my the guys who are after other things. You can tell when you meet the nice ones, and you will know if it's right as long as you really get to know the person! Remember, our society generates hundreds of those self centered guys who only want something from someone else for every nice guy. It's the popular culture. So it will take patience! I wish I knew Lex better. He's kind of in his shell at the moment though. He sounds like a really cool dude, I guess I just joined too late, and he's got his following already. I wish I knew Lex better. He's kind of in his shell at the moment though. He sounds like a really cool dude, I guess I just joined too late, and he's got his following already. I'm really more of an Arrogant Narcissistic Conceited Jerk, but that plays fairly well in a venue that's ostensibly tired of the "nice guys"! And I wouldn't worry too much about the "following" -- I suspect most of them are just waiting till one of my books is made into a movie, and then they'll all want free tickets. I'm just hoping for autographed copies at some point! |
