One thing that'll help people on the single road, is to realize that "types" are overrated. Yes, there is always going to be a certain physical or personality characteristic that you will be inevitably drawn to, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give people without those characteristics a chance. Your heart is going to be drawn to whatever it feels the most connected to, and more often than not, you can't control that. What do you say, why not let your heart decide?

When I was younger, I let my heart decide. Now that Im older, its a balance of my heart and the knowledge my experience has gained me about what does and doesnt work for me. |

What do you say, why not let your heart decide? Oh, it does. Sometimes I have been lucky. Sometimes not so much. Lex is right. Your heart doesn't have the brain power of your mind. But love brings such joy. I don't mind a little stupidity :-) |

I agree with this part...  Your heart is going to be drawn to whatever it feels the most connected to, and more often than not, you can't control that. Not only can you control it, but you need to control it. You will get hurt if you don't. Certainly your heart will attract you toward certain people, but your past should guide you too. If you're young, you don't have this information, and that's when the hurting starts. Having said that, I agree completely in what you said before about not letting "types" be your bible. Some of the best relationships ever come from thinking outside of the box. It's a balancing act....
