In addition to the firing squad, I'd like to see PUBLIC HANGING brought back, too ...

You are joking right?...you really wouldn't want to watch another die...

It appears peaceful because their paralyzed. If not the body would be flopping all around and it would be quite gruesome to watch.
Well, except to those who would enjoy such a thing..then I suppose it would be entertaining..

You're right, it would be entertaining.

The fact that the person is unconscious and paralyzed certainly does give the effect of painlessness. I have heard before that the proses does cause pain, but I've never heard of an explanation of how. Do you know how or why, or is this just a theory with alot of evidence.

Actually still an option in Delaware, too.

Does Delaware still have the chair as an option? Or beheading?

As a pacifist it's a subject I've chosen to learn about....do your own research.

I choose to be entertained by beautiful things such as nature, not watching another die.

I hope that one you love never is on that table, you may not find is so entertaining then.

Peace brother

I love nature too, that is why I like seeing people who degrade life and civilization be harshly punished for their crimes.

Chair and lethal as well no beheading unless hanging counts. To tell you the truth I do not think they have a hangiong apparatice, but hell, all you need is a good steady tree and a rope right? It is just on the books and, if was requested, the State of Delaware would have to comply. There are many methods and laws outdated, that have not been removed.

Actually, nevermind, apparently they romoved those methods in 1986. Lethal injection only now.....hey they never told the residents though....what kind puzzy bullcrap is that?

I lived in Delaware up until 10 years ago, moved out here..it's a funny little state. I was in Milford, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach..
I loved going to Ocean City...made it a ritual. I miss the ocean.

Why would i joke about something that's a proven deterrent ... ? Yes, I would watch 'em die. More importantly, the ones who were thinking about IMITATING their behavior would watch 'em die. As it is now, they never see 'em when they come to 'the end of their rope' - to use a phrase. I'm also not opposed to just letting a truck wheel roll over their head and leaving the body in the street as an 'object lesson' ...

and this is how it continues,,most people bring harm to others because they feel 'justified' ,,,,,,in doing so

I think dead is dead, it is just as sad to me if it is from a drunk driver or if it is from someone flying a plane into a building, or strapping a bomb to their bodies, or being beheaded,,,,

the end result is that someone felt the right to hold someone ELSES life in their hand,, and something or string of things happened to convince them of that

Wanting one to die for their crime is not an un common feeling...wanting to watch is rather repulsive.

Enjoy your hatred and thirst for blood. ill

The death penalty makes the state no better than those they determined need to be killed.

sometimes the death penalty may be the most humane way to proceed

The death penalty makes the state no better than those they determined need to be killed.

So ... the state is 'no better' even AFTER having given the accused numerous trials, defenses, alibis, and freedoms that the accused NEVER gave his VICTIMS ... ? I'm sure that makes perfect sense to you or to others, but I'm in favor of giving them a fair trial and then killing them. The matter of HOW they're killed is entirely immaterial to me. I'd like to put 'em in a room with the family of their victims for an hour or so, but that's just crazy talk ...

Death penalty just shows how ignorant humans are still.

We need to not be so stupid to believe that killing people solves anything

Death is a part of life. There is no escaping. Some choose their own fate.
