This is a distant cousin to my posting regarding online etiquette. I'm new to the online dating experience and enjoy mingle's active community. As I read the profiles and postings, there are many new and veteran members who suggest that online dating can go from...who are you.. to... where have you been all my life...to...what a [pejoratively fill in the blank] in a few days, hours, maybe even minutes. So I thought it would be fun and informative to share some Hero/ine to Zero/ine online tales. I do hope responses will be fun and generalized to protect the online identities involved.

Well I'm not certain as to where this fits within your sliding scale however it was a very disturbing experience that left me w/a haunting memory.I was once propositioned by a tu-tu wearing,big breasted woman w/a hairy chin;( She asked me to participate in her fruit throwing fetish.I firmly believe that it would require more than serious ganja to rid myself of this ghastly experience.Just saying!G'luck & Godspeed!Cy;=)

He hop a ride with an asian guy, a cheetah AND Neil Patrick Harris just to get to my place for some teeeeeeny cheese burgers and stole my bong! .........at least that's how I remember it going. In my defense...I found the cheetah on the way there, well, originally I was lost but the cheetah helped me out. THEN we ran into NPH and he gave us a lift to the nearest White Castle and we ran a covert operation to retrieve the bong.

The one guy here who I was serious about, said he wanted the same things I did. We started talking marriage and then he pops me an email saying he didn't want property. He wanted a quarter acre on the lake and a boat and that was that. When I asked where the animals would go, he told me to leave them at my folks.

I met someone here and got caught up in the whole internet virtual reality dating thing..it was my first and last (Im a bit wiser now)..it was great fun until I discovered the truth about him, everything he said was a lie constructed to screw with my head...you really have to be care full and dont let yourself get caught up in the rush of emotions you get...
