What is so great about those striped pants?

I had some tell me I should get 'em. Supposedly cheaper than jeans. I don't see or understand what's so grand about them. Other than they are quite popular among most all ages from little kids to retirees.

They have a single to as much as three stripes going down the sides of each leg. Some have zippers at the end of the pant leg. Some have snap. Most seem to be made of nylon or some other thin light weight synthetic fabric. Though I have seen some made from a knit fabric and fleece.

I think I came across some on Amazon called "Track Pants".

I don't know if that would be something for me. Kinda use to the heavy, sturdy feel of denim.

Oh this is easy...

Most striped pants help with camoflague much like the stripes that mask the asiatic tigers tha roam the mangrove forests of the indonesian penninsula.

Any punk@ssed third grader in his pin stripped slacks can pass off as mafia.....but it takes a true master to become one with his/her surroundings wearing stripes.
