perhaps if any offender who does their time would get rehabilitated and reintegrated into society properly the first time, there would be no need for those who wish to defend, forgive, forget and turn the other cheek to have to open their homes

the penal system needs to be overhauled, rebuilt, or abandoned for a system that has a better chance of helping offenders be productive members of society

for those who say he was getting off to pictures, not every drug dealer does drugs. as long as there is a market (buyers) there will be sellers. only he knows what he was doing and why. everyone else can only speculate

hopefully he will have his day in court and justice will be served. unless the system allows him to "plea bargain" his way into a lesser sentence for a lesser crime (which i suspect happened when he first did seven years)

We know he sexually assaulted two 8 year olds and a 10 year old in 1989. Then got busted with the vile porn filth in 2002. I think it is a fair assumption he was getting off on those pics and vids.

I might add that being in possession of or distribiting such vile filth makes him party to the abuse of those thousands of chidren. There would be none of that **** made if there wern't people buying and trading it.

I liked "Lex" and will miss him. Certainly not Keith Willis. I'm grateful that I didn't feel get close enough to "Lex" to feel burned by his deception. I did have a lot of questions to myself about him, and they are all answered by this.

I knew a pedophile once, and I do think it's highly likely that the cause comes from their own childhood abuse, a circle of tragedy if there ever was one.

When my daughter was born, one of my first thoughts was to make sure my ex-friend never found out where I lived. I grieve for his suffering, which I know was real, but I WILL protect my child.

As far as I know he is charged with multiple counts of violations of his release from prison. Which is not registering numerous alias's with the sex offender registry, lying about his whereabouts, and using these alias's on internet social sites.

The stipulation of his release was to remain registered and to disclose his whereabouts in order provide the public with some sense of security. He did not do that. He did everything in his power to do just the opposite. To hide, deceive, violate is release agreement.

Who knows if he had "kiddie Porn" (also sounds sugar coated considering it was rape of infants, bondage, beatings and possible murders). As he was trying to get away from the news media he said, "I have got to go, I have some things to take care of"...could have gotten rid of it. We might not ever know. Or, they may very well get search warrants in light of his violations on probable cause. I hope so.

As a man with a daughter I have no pity for Keith. You cannot tell me he didn't know what he was doing to those little girls was wrong.

Just because i choose to forgive, it doesn't mean i fully accept what he did. It's just me wanting closure on the issue. I have two young sisters who are teenagers, so i know how it feels to be very protective over children in thr family. I feel a great scar for the poor families, that have to deal with what he did to them, for the rest of their lives. It's gonna take a whole lotta therapy for this to just ever be forgotten about. I hope the effected families can forget about it soon enough. Just want to make it wholly clear that i'm in no way defending this guy. I just like to be able to forgive so that i can move on.

I can't beleive the plea bargain he got with only 7 years and 3 kids were knowingly molested. Yes the penal system needs to change. So for the mental ill in it. I did know someone in florida whos daughter flipped out while on some anti physcodic drug. Killed shot her sister dead and wounded her father the father was able to get the gun while the mother called the police. While spending her time in jail. She couldn't get any good mental health help. I remember the mom suffering over this always pleaing with the state. Her one daughter was dead and she wasn't giving up on the other.

Every drug dealer does not do drugs???!!!???!! And your point is what, as long as you don't do em it's OK to sell em?..... A market???? So those little grade school children (babies) who are getting turned on to drugs are some of the people you consider a market??....When innocent children are victimized BY ADULTS there will be no free passes from me....

The whole situation is sad and scary - both that there are pedophiles at all and that there was one among us. I don't blame Mingle, certainly (although the idea to background check mods is probably a good one.)

I do think it's a very good reminder to everyone that what you post online is public and that anyone, anywhere can see it, spread it or use it according to their own predilections.

I'm not advocating being a complete paranoid. I have meet many wonderful people in person who I initially met online. Just be careful what you say, careful who you meet and where (especially initially) and use a little common sense.

my point is the pictures he had may or may not have been used by him for his personal entertainment. i don't know if he even had any since his conviction in the early 2000's. what is clear to me is that he failed to register. if he was sneaking around waiting for an opportunity to strike or sneaking around because many people in today's society are unwilling to let him attempt to live a normal life is unclear. his day in court is coming and hopefully justice will be served

There is allot more good than not. Sure not going to leave mingle because of this I'm not going to over dramatize it really the good thing is he got caught. I feel he wanted to live another life and get rid of Willis who wouldn't want to do this. But you have to go by the law. No aliases. Glad he is gone. And life goes on.

"Lex" had no clear pictures. As we can see now, it was obviously to hide who he was. Had there been a clear picture, it would have shown he was nowhere near the age he said he was.

You of course can choose not to show a picture of yourself, however that has nothing to do with reality. You may be acting as your real self here, but not wanting to show yourself isn't very real. Again, though, that's your choice. There's no reason to be offended by anyone wanting/expecting to see who people really are.
