and ABC news is already reporting the shooter may be a member of the Tea Party! Gonna' have to rename them aBS. How do they account for the tear gas? You can't get that at any military surplus store. 10 to 1 it was a military op with a fall guy.

and ABC news is already reporting the shooter may be a member of the Tea Party! Anything to smear the tea party, and try and take away our guns. I just heard the guy droped out of medical school last month and was a registered democrat in San Diego, California.

You hear his apartment was booby trapped and had a sophisticated explosive. Police said it might take days to disarm. This wasn't just some crazy on a random shooting spree.

They interviewed a man who lost his daughter there. My question is what the hell is a 6 year old doing at a movie like that at midnight?

This is why every state needs a right to carry concealed law...if someone in the theater was armed it wouldn't have been as bad I would hope. My thoughts and prayers go out for the victims and wounded.

This is why every state needs a right to carry concealed law...if someone in the theater was armed it wouldn't have been as bad I would hope. My thoughts and prayers go out for the victims and wounded. Even with the tear gas, you're certain someone could have prevented all this from happening?

The guy had tear gas, body armor, was in a dark room and people are in shock. Not sure much could be done.

its very sad, so far report is he was neuroscience major, very bright, but something has happened in the past year as his grades dropped off maybe there is a mental illness there that began developing more quickly lately, maybe thats why he chose neuroscience to try to understand himself,,,,

I feel for the families of the dead and the surviving victims but I'm already sick of hearing about it. This will become another mini series like Columbine and Tucson.

It makes me cough a little and isn't bad. Pepper spray to me is worse. Surely some in the crowd have high tolerance to it as well.

Maybe not all of it but it may not have been as bad. We don't know that. There were lots of young people in the theater and people running around like crazy when there was tear gas. It could have been worse had people been firing guns blindly.

We don't know that anyone else did, though.
