Enoch Adejare Adeboye yesterday
described same sex marriage legalised in
some countries as anathema to God’s will
and instruction.
Adeboye, who spoke at the New Year
thanksgiving organised by the Joint
Christian Mission of the Obafemi Awolowo
University, OAU, Ile-Ife, described same
sex marriage as anti- God and ungodly.
The cleric condemned the act, which, he
said, could draw backward the biblical
doctrinal principle of God in humanity.
He said: “People should walk in the light of
God and forsake acts that are traceable to
darkness. Darkness is bad, it is evil. It
produces poverty, hatred, sorrow,
barenness and loneliness, but light
produces love, peace, joy, promotion and
faithfulness.
“Darkness is capable of wrecking havoc in
the country, and Nigerian leaders should
try to shun acts of darkness in 2013 for the
nation to enjoy peace.”
The GO added that the will of God for
human being is to be fruitful, replenish and
multiply on earth and argued that same sex
marriage was capable of wiping out human
race within just 20 years.
Adeboye said anything contrary to man
and woman marriage was devilish. He said:
“Same sex marriage is anathema to God’s
will and instruction.
The will of God for human being is to be
fruitful, replenish and multiply on earth and
anything contrary to that is devilish.”
“How can a man who marries a fellow man
produce a child and how can a woman who
marries a woman produce a child? “If this
evil is allowed to stay, there will not be new
born babies again in the world.
As the older generation dies, would there
be new generation to succeed? Even plants
and animals have new generation to
succeed them.”

"Every five seconds one child dies of hunger." Seems to me; we have way too many people if we can't feed everyone.

So does that mean that heterosexual couples that can't have children are also going against gods will?

Not a thing in this world is worth killing one another for. But believe it or not so many people out there through a misconstrued doctrines and all the likes, would alway want to make us believe that they are fighting for God's mandate. But then again judgement is of the Lord... Then again, we have the descerning spirit in us...do we not?

The problem is people come to God in their own ways. You cannot force your beliefs on others.

No one knows what "God's will" is. Anyone who claims they do are deluded.

Personally I dont condone same sex marriage or homosexuality. However, to each his own. I highly doubt same sex marriage will wipe out humanity, thats obsurd, especialy in 20 years. Mankind is in total recession mentaly, have been for a long time. Same sex marriage is but just another manifestation of global brainrot, along with other human conditions of that mental recession. In fact, the god of this world is man, and all his devilish vices. This world is in big trouble.

Sorry. I just find it a tad hypocritical, that god tells people not to judge others, yet he judges gay people. Maybe he forgot to practice EVERYTHING he preaches. How can he then expect others to follow suit, if some of it sounds opposite? That's the only part I can't fathom.

biblically, the bible instructs each to leave their family home in order to have one wife/husband, its not predicated(marriage) on whether there will be children, but on whether there will be less temptation to give in to random lusts,,,

I believe it is ONLY GODS place to judge people, as the creator of people

This is why the Gnostics and others believe the g-d of the old testament to be a demiurge who was basically evil.

I think the god of the old testament was basically evil. Does that make me a Gnostic?

If there is anything to the idea of free will, any god that interferes into the lives and decisions of human kind is tyrannical.

The law of Karma and Law of attraction and of cause and effect are automatic and will determine outcomes. God has little to do with any of that.

Depends on what your other beliefs are; you could be an adherent to Marcionism, etc.
