I think I read that much, thanx Invictus

I just am waiting to hear the whole story, Im not sure being interested in is the same as actually being a muslim,,,,anymore than my interest in NOI or palestine makes me a muslim or palestinian

its interesting to note as well that the one who went out in a blaze was the older brother , and also the one reported to have the abovementioned social media

the younger one is only 19, may have just been following his brother as so many younger siblings do,,,

anyway, its all tragic, I hope it doesnt resort in further profiling of muslims or russians, and my heart goes out to all the families involved , victims and suspects,,,

The vast majority of ethnic chechens are sunni muslim.

The uncle of these two yayhoos said they were muslim this morning. He said he wasn't sure if they were radicalized or not and I say their actions dictate that they were.

The suspects' uncle told the local CBS News station that the pair had lived in the country since 2002. The uncle, when told that one of his nephews was killed, replied that he deserved it. “He deserved his. He absolutely deserved his,” Ruslan Tsarni said. “They do not deserve to live

Marathon bombing suspect Tsarnaev (FBI)on this earth.”

In an emotional press conference, Tsarni said his nephews had brought shame upon his family, and called them "losers." He said they were not "able to settle themselves" and were "angry at everyone who was able to." He said he did not believe they were motivated by the radical politics in Chechnya or their Muslim religion.

"Dzhokhar, If you're alive, turn yourself in and ask for forgiveness from the victims [and] the injured," he said. "He put a shame on our family. He put a shame on the entire Chechnyan ethnicity. Turn yourself in."

He added that he hadn't been in touch with the family for several years, but would not say why.

"I'm ready to kneel in front of them and ask their forgiveness," Tsarni said of the victims of his nephews' crime. "I respect this country; I love this country ... this country that gives everybody chance to be treated like human being."

During an interview with reporters aired on CNN and other stations, the Boston bombing suspects’ aunt seemingly confirmed that at least one of the alleged bombers was a Muslim.

When asked if her nephews were “devout practicing Muslims,” Maret Tsarnaev replied: “He was not devout.”

“But just recently, maybe two years ago, he started praying about five times a day, which I don’t see anything bad in it,” she said from outside her Toronto home. “I would rather him praying than smoking or doing drugs.”

She confirmed that she was talking about “Suspect 1,” Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26.

However, when someone asked about reports that Tsarnaev was a “devout Christian,” the aunt became irritated and CNN then cut from the interview. It is unclear if the interview had concluded or if the network simply cut away.

The Associated Press is also reporting that she told reporters that her nephew, Tamerlan, had recently become a devout Muslim who prayed five times a day.

She says her brother was desperate when he found out Tamerlan dropped out of his university.

She says Tamerlan married and had a daughter in the U.S.

She called the boys smart and athletic, and she wants proof they are involved in the bombing.

“Within the family, everything was perfect,” the aunt says.

The woman also alleged a conspiracy, saying her nephews might have been framed.

“The picture is staged,” she said.

Watch below:

The suspects’ father also hinted of a conspiracy on Friday and said “all hell” would break loose if his younger son was also killed.

This story has been updated.

quite a different story than the uncle's version...

Th' sumbitch moved here from Canookieland?

h
Here's a quote I found there.

'Absolutely. The radical left was correct earlier this week when they “prayed” it would be a White American Conservative type.

This is the end of Obama’s amnesty. These clowns became citizens 1 year ago under the Obama regime.

even tho the cops have the streets cleaned from people in Boston, i hope someone gets the arrest/death of the younger brother on video... when the cops tell the media to stay away, that leads to the uncertainty many people have about what is really going on... i guess "freedom of the press" is gone too, just like in Waco... the cops are already saying one brother ran over the other brother, throwing grenades out the windows, killing cops... where did they get grenades at? thats not something you can get at wal mart, ya know... even if there is no conspiracy involved, the police and feds are making it seem like there is...

The Russian FSB intelligence service told the FBI in 2011 about information that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a follower of radical Islam, two law enforcement officials said Saturday.

According to an FBI news release, a foreign government said that Tamerlan Tsarnaev appeared to be strong believer and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the U.S. for travel to the Russian region to join unspecified underground groups.

The FBI did not name the foreign government, but the two officials said it was Russia. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk about the matter publicly.

The FBI said that in response, it interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev and relatives, and did not find any domestic or foreign terrorism activity. The bureau said it looked into such things as his telephone and online activity, his travels and his associations with others.

An uncle of the Tsarnaev brothers said he had a falling-out with Tamerlan over the man's increased commitment to Islam.

Ruslan Tsarni of Montgomery Village, Md., said Tamerlan told him in a 2009 phone conversation that he had chosen "God's business" over work or school. Tsarni said he then contacted a family friend who told him Tsarnaev had been influenced by a recent convert to Islam.

BREAKING: Senator Lautenberg Introduces Legislation to Regulate Gunpowder
April 20 2013

Are you listening hunters? I know many hunters prefer to hand load their hunting cartridges to really dial in the accuracy of their rifles. Well, doing that could become more cumbersome and more expensive if Senator Lautenberg has his way.

The senator is introducing legislation that would require the sale of gunpowder of all types to be subject to a background check during the purchasing process.

Obviously, this will raise the price of gunpowder and make ordering online nearly impossible.

Currently, a person may have 50lbs of black powder on hand. This is an amount that would be appropriate for shooters who like to reload their own ammo to save money and create more accurate cartridges.

The full press release from the senator’s office is below:

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In the wake of the deadly bombing attacks in Boston, U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) today announced that he will reintroduce legislation he has proposed in a prior Congress to require that sales of explosive powder be subject to a background check. He will also file the legislation as an amendment to the gun violence prevention bill currently on the Senate floor.

Current law allows an individual to purchase as much as 50 pounds of explosive “black powder” without a background check, and also permits an individual to purchase unlimited amounts of dangerous “smokeless powder” and “black powder substitute” without a background check. Sen. Lautenberg’s proposal would change that and require a background check for any purchase of these explosive powders. These powders can be used as the explosive material in assembling pipe bombs, used in the Columbine school shooting, and pressure cooker bombs, which may have been used in the recent Boston attack.

“It is outrageous that anyone, even a known terrorist, can walk into a store in America and buy explosives without any questions asked,” said Senator Lautenberg. “If we are serious about public safety, we must put these common-sense safeguards in place. While the police have not revealed what specific explosive materials were used in Boston, what we do know is that explosive powder is too easy to anonymously purchase across the country.”

Lautenberg will introduce the “Explosive Materials Background Check Act,” which will:

* Require a background check to purchase black powder, black powder substitute, smokeless powder, or any other explosive, in any quantity;
* Provide the Attorney General with the authority to stop the sale of explosives when a background check reveals that the applicant is a known or suspected terrorist and the Attorney General reasonably believes that the person may use the explosives in connection with terrorism; and
* Make it illegal to manufacture homemade explosives without a permit.

Lautenberg introduced a similar proposal in 2003 as part of his “Homeland Security Gun Safety Act of 2003.” Current law does not require an individual to produce a permit, identification or undergo a background check when purchasing up to fifty pounds of black powder. To make matters worse, no permit or background check is required for the purchase of any quantity of black powder substitute or smokeless powder. Current explosives laws also do not prevent the manufacture of homemade explosives without a license, unless the manufacturer is “engaged in the business” of making explosives.

In October 2010, Sen. Lautenberg released a report, “Firearms, Explosives and Terrorists – A Looming Threat – A Major U.S. Vulnerability,” examining the dangers posed to the United States by terrorism attacks using explosives. The report points to the Mumbai attacks and attempted bombing in Times Square, as demonstrating the interest and ability of terrorists to launch attacks in the United States using explosives.

It is not one bit logical that some lone radical would plant bombs to hurt civilians. There is absolutely NOTHING TO GAIN and no logical reason for doing so.

Who actually gains by any illogical terror attack. The ones who are pushing for tyranny and a police state to come into effect in this country.

The NSA has purchased weapons for a war against whom? Us. The public.

With every act of violence on schools or colleges, the feds are locking down colleges, which is a practice of martial law. This time in Boston it was an entire town/neighborhood.

There were seals all over the place doing an "exercise" before any bombs even went off. They were telling people to be "be calm."

I'm sure some of these seals had no clue what was about to happen, but someone did.

This was another black flag exercise for martial law in my opinion. They are training the public to be afraid and to follow orders of martial law.

"Stay in your homes."

They are reinforcing the idea that terrorism is DOMESTIC and that there is a need for federal forces patrolling our streets.

Meanwhile the house passed a bill effecting cyber freedom called CISPA. Shall we be concerned?

Here is an article about it:

The Case For – And Against – Freaking Out About CISPA, The Controversial Cybersecurity Bill That Passed In The House

http://www.mediaite.com/online/cispa-reasons-to-worry/

Snippet:

4. In the wake of the Boston bombing, it may be easier for politicians to rally around the national security cause to get bills like this passed. Our own Josh Feldman, among others, noted Thursday that Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) tried to draw a direct line between the deadly attack on the Boston Marathon and the need to pass CISPA. While the flimsiness of McCaul’s premise was betrayed by the statements of, well, Mike McCaul (“n Boston, they were real bombs…in this case, they’re digital bombs”), that he tried it at all proved the “privacy vs. security” debate is only set to intensify.

Quote from above:
"It is not one bit logical that some lone radical would plant bombs to hurt civilians. There is absolutely NOTHING TO GAIN and no logical reason for doing so."

Take a page from modern history on the very start of 'terror wars' by the FLN: Front Liberation Nationale of Algeria. The clearly warned the French govt. and military what they were going to do and how.; even to predicting how the French would react to their tactics to no avail.
Since then, every terror group that has waged any sort of urban guerrilla/ terrorist war has used the FLN model. The model stands to this day as basically unbeatable given the will to fight by the terrorists' guerrilla patriot or 'armed combatant'. For an overall study of what the FLN accomplished, see the book City Of the Wolves. The French govt. did as they predicted; lash back with unrestrained fury and began internal dissent which collapsed the Govt. much to the vexation of the French military which far too late began to understand how not to react to the innocent population at large. One other mitigated factor came into play however which no one figured on: the rise of the "Armee Secret" which was made up of ex military and mostly French citizen settlers all over Algeria. They attacked the Govt. and their own military. That aside, the FLN held on, regrouped and continued their terror tactics and wore down the French. They won by sheer terror that sapped the will to fight back faster than anyone figured on.
To understand and appreciate the tactics, logic, and goals of the terrorists, the FLN set the prevailing standards the world over for all terror wars. Try to find the ' documentary style' film that was the biggest hit of the 70's the world over: "The Battle Of Algiers" It is 'a must' to see and comprehend.

I read that "Tsarnaev drove a silver Mercedes and wore fashionable clothes yet was known as a loner, drifting from job to job, at one stage delivering pizzas.
KEY Question - Where did these guys get the money to spend on all this stuff and travel??? The elder in Russia for six months, family, cars, guns, etc.
After the two brothers engaged in a gun battle with police early Friday, authorities found many unexploded homemade bombs at the scene, along with more than 250 rounds of ammunition.
Sunday, the city's police commissioner said the two suspects had such a large cache of weapons that they were probably planning other attacks.

foreign policy analysts have long tracked a connection between the Chechnya region and Islamic extremists with Al Qaeda and the Taliban. If the suspects are indeed Chechen, they may represent part of a jihadi network which has made its way to American soil.
the terrorists are “financed by a web of Islamic charities, banks and other organizations that have served as cash conduits for terrorist groups.
