Topic: Honesty gets you nowhere

Women keep saying they want honesty well they've been getting it from me. But they don't appreciate it. I have been on this website for about a week and in that time I have got nowhere. Instead of being rewarded for my honesty I have been ridiculed. So I have come to the conclusion that honesty is not the best policy.

Well how brutally honest are you being? I mean if your saying stuff like. "Hi I'm so and so. You look cute are you into anal beads and bondage too?" I could see how that might not work for you.

Honesty isn't the easiest path to choose in life. I do want to point out that real honesty comes from the heart. If you were to say "I feel so f****** lonely/rejected/misunderstood/horny/not loved/.../..." it could be labelled as honesty.
If you simply say you're bored stiff and need the attention, that could be honesty.

That's some flawed logic I'm thinkin'. You HAVE been rewarded, from what I've seen this past week. You've posted honestly, and received honest responses from people offering sincere suggestions. You don't seem to count those, and assume they're ridiculing you for your honesty. Perhaps re-read some responses?

If you're honestly seeking just sex, did you really expect a bunch of women to fall down with legs spread wide for ya after just a week on here and posting such statements? Have you not received ANY offers, even if you found the person too repulsive for your likes? What exactly do your expect for a reward for your honesty? Keep in mind how many women are actually in your vicinity, on this site, who happen to be willing and able to 'reward' you the way you want. huh

Honesty IS always the best policy! You can't be someone you're not! flowerforyou

Just being honest does not always equal people buying what you are selling. Look at how many products out there would be gathering dust on shelves if salesmen were honest. Honesty IS the best policy, just the more taxing of the two options in the short term... and in the end the more liberating in the long term.

Well you know they say nice guys finish last. Just as well from my experience the woman who KNOW you want them, don't care much for you where the woman who want you who aren't given a second though will go crazy for you. Young woman want the chase, if there is no chase they generally lose interest [GENERALLY, NOT ALL OF YOU(inb4 flame)]. Who knows man. Just gotta keep looking until you find a girl who realizes what she has rather than leave you for some ******* who treats her like ****.

I met a man last week...thought all was well.arranged to meet him today..and i received this message...Good morning Linda
I hope you get this before you head into town, but I won't be there, no particular reason other than I have not been truthful with you. So before we get any further, and you being a lovely lady I am calling it a day. I wish you luck in your search but you deserve better than me. ....so i guess even thought it made me angry he had decided to be HONEST....mmmmmmm

honesty is the best policy, but you have to have tact as well.

And also if it this 'honesty' was asked of you. Sure you could be honest walking down the mall and tell a girl she is fat, but that's not very tactful, and plus she didn't seek your opinion on it. It makes me laugh when I see these threads, because somewhere along the line some people think being honest means giving their opinion on every thing whether asked or not, that's not honesty, that's just being douchie

honesty is best met with honesty...

some are better off with a candy coated version that is easier to swallow by their sensitive egos...

if someone doesn't appreciate your honesty then chances are they aren't able to be as honest themselves...

Sometimes women do not like, what a man is being honest about. Those truthful conversations about himself, may not be what the woman is looking for, after she finds out his truths.
