Just found out recently that the oldest woman can act like a toddler when she feels abused, cheated or heartbroken. My friend's wife taught him that fearful lesson yesterday.'Weaker vessel' indeed!

Its an observation though, and advice to men to be discreet with those 'species' 'cos you could be misunderstood easily and pronounced 'guilty' when you are actually innocent as no one would listen to 'an abuser' or 'cheat'.This is women's world!

Best bet would be to acknowledge and accept that the world is made up of all sorts of people...Good, bad...Honest, dishonest...Strong, weak,...Smart, dumb.....Oh yeah, must not forget self righteous!

I was talking to my mother about this recently and she found it offensive when I said something about women being more led by their emotions than men. Certainly, a lot of the debates about sexism are about how men have oppressed women because they are supposedly less rational or logical but at the same time, many self styled feminists grant that women are more "intuitive" in that way. It may be a stereotype and it may be more to do with how children are brought up but there does seem to be some truth in it.

If women are more emotional I don't know if it really follows that they are weaker and in some ways you could say that they are stronger than men but it's still been my personal experience that women get moody on me and a lot of the time it's for no apparent reason and they seem to expect me to understand their feelings without bothering to explain them to me.

Case in point: I still have no idea why my last girlfriend isn't talking to me anymore and I've gone over that last conversation that I had with her in my head hundreds of times. I don't think that I said anything wrong and I certainly didn't intend to but whatever it was, I guess I must have unintentionally triggered some emotional response and she did tell me that she had a history of abuse.

"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned,"
~William Congreve

Most women seem to be ruled by overwhelming emotions and hormones, so when they get pissed they lash out in spiteful and vindictive ways. Just one of those things you have to accept about most of them

I just read your profile it's funny how you are seeking " Friendship " yet putting women down ....hmmmm my logically mind indicates that you won't attract many female " friends "
I think any body who abuses another human is the " weaker Vessel " I think people who have been abused may act like " toddlers "
Men friends whose wives have been cheated on have cried and lamented for many years in my experience Does that make them the " weaker vessel " and being Heartbroken would make any body upset cry and feel sad Again are we all " Weak Vessels "
I'm wondering if you have gone through any thing in your life that made you cry as far as I know
Death Old Age and Sickness / accidents will weaken us Do u think you can escape any of this ?
Being like a toddler is probably like being seen as innocent so the lady that was hurt had no right ? it seems in your view to have feelings is somehow a sign of weakness
So that would include people like Ghandi Mandela ....etc ...hmmmmmmmmmmmm

It sounds to me that you are bitter towards women for your friends sake.
Yes women are emotional. Men just get mad and wanna beat the one accused up. {I'm being sarcastic}
You shouldn't stuff us all into the same bag. Now thats what I call immature.

Go figure! He's a Bible Thumper...Yes! Spread tha LOVE brotha!

I thought there were plenty of guys who acted childish as well. Not throwing my own under the bus. But it's kind of silly to make a statement about one group when the flip side is just as true.

Now if you said something like women have babies. then the only thing to say is men get them pregnant. lol

Hoppa, another friend gone from my list. I have no room for narrow-minded people in my life anymore.

I really can't believe this kind of derogatory postings is even allowed on Mingle. Thought there was a forum rule about derogatory comments on genders ...

LOL I wasn't talking about you, Izzy :)
As far as I understand things to work here on Mingle, if you don't quote, the posting is a reaction to the OP.

feeling emotional and being immature are different things though,,,

I Agree women TEND to be more emotional and men TEND to be more analytical

but BEHAVIOR is a choice, whatever emotion we feel or however analytical we are

Well I was just kidding around anyway. It's fun to give people a hard time sometimes. hahaha

I tend to quote if there are a few posts between the person I want to respond to and the bottom of the page. Makes it easier for people to know who you are talking to.
