YOU have trouble opening up. I read the OP and the first thought I had was, "I don't trust this." still thinking that..... (sorry, it's me way)  That's cool, this thread wont suit everybody, and yes I agree a lot will be skeptical, it is what it is though, and the longer people are involved here the more they will see it as a refuge from.......well whatever they are seeking refuge from. |

Can you ever really be open and honest in the forums while so many watch...it's like being naked in public.... Being naked in public is very liberating........sometimes you have to do that to break the shackles of the past.by g hi Every one who writes in here honestly, will find it very liberating and will attract like minded people that admire their strength and bravery. Its a brave new world Tanzy. The unfortunate part is that I there are friends in here and foes....that keeps me on guard because info on the internet is easily manipulated.......just because I trust you doesn't mean I trust who you associate with.... |

I honestly do not trust peeps who have a "tell all" mentality... |

honestly Mike.. I don't want to be brave anymore.. I'm tired of doing this by myself. exhausted..
don't get me wrong.. I love my boys. I'm getting to love my life.. but some days...WOW... between the kids.. my career.. my tenants... the house . the yard work.. all of It.. if it wasn't for mobile.. And the fact that I can bring everybody with me wherever I go...m2.. I mean.. I would not have the time to be on here.... I have become an expert at multitasking....lol.. sorry I just needed to vent... but I'm exhausted. |

Makes people look guilty and afraid if they mudsling for being different. No one will be forced to be open. ...so how bout we dont insult the ones who are. I'm not mudslinging, just being honest and open if what MY opinion is......If you look back at my post history....I mean WAY back I used to share the same view, but honestly being open in a public forum, while being healthy for me emotionally, ultimately caused more heartache/headaches then was necessary. Here is the main problem, you say something in a post, a personal revelation, a problem you are dealing with AT that time....you vent you feel better you move on.... or so you think, someone you know sees your post from 6 months or longer ago. ...while this may be old news for you it is new news for them, forcing you to relive issues that would be better left in the past. |

Im kinda sad that so many are afraid to be open and honest on here. I sure do understand tho. I like being open but of course there are some things I dont share....unless the topic leads there organically  whoami kidding...i spill it everywhere like a big ol mess. but no address or phone number etc, like mikey said.. Im pretty trustworthy tho, so sorry people dont feel it. gotta go with what makes you comfortable tho. I know thats what I do. Hi and welcome, you get it...

Okay,
maybe some clarification here...of course I am not going to spill the entire intimate details of my life, but what I and the rest of us will share is what we have gleaned from our life experiences. That might mean bringing up things from our pasts, they will be bought up if relevant to our discussions in here. I am happy to share parts of me, and I want other guys and girls to share as well, most of the people I know on here are not here to beat each other up or mess with other, they are here to find love and a partner......after all this is a dating site, isn't it, if we expect to find some one here it is imperative we learn about each other, warts and all. I personally have no time for old issues, when I joined this site I made a conscious decision to leave all my old crap behind, it was a new start for me and very refreshing............anyway thats my 2 cents worth. Honest and Brave. |
