What's on my mind when viewing and/or reviewing profiles without writing something could be one of several things, ...my friends flipping me cr*p for being on a dating site and I am showing off the profiles that interest me,.. Sometimes start to write something than change my mind...or the infamous my stupid touchy touch screen...damn...

 It doesn't bother me at all. Who ever views my profile is seeing the Man behind the Graywolf (for whatever reason) maby because of the forums i participate in or answers i give? All receive a((( hug))) Thank you!! What gets me is they agree in a mutual match wanting to "meet on mingle"? I send a friends first and never hear from them again? I've got good friends that call me and talk"now this is needed"!! I'm trying to be more active on here and participate more but pain from texting with my right arm is most of the time very unbearable!!! And Thanks to all those that send messages on my condition!! All over the World people view profiles on here even if you do have a 50 mile radius set for your match. I'm not going to say i'm going to remain where i live "if the Right Lady is persistent" so Stalk on!

Perhaps they read posts on forums and just check the profile afterwards? It is one of the possibilities. I do the same. Let me check your profile. BRB I agree. I do it all the time. I see an interesting post and I check the profile to put it in context. People who make a lot of interesting posts probably get checked more often. You should be flattered if people are checking your profile. And if they do it multiple times it's probably because the have not yet committed your profile to memory. That's what the profile is there for. As to why they don't leave a message. In my case it would be a lot of "Oh yeah now I remember...." No harm, no foul. IMHO. |

NoMindGamesPlease.....I understand what you mean when someone checks on your profile periodically....like every day, don't leave a message, don't say hi....and if it is someone in your region/country, it does give you the creeps
! I had one who checked in every other day without fail.... nearly 2 weeks! Thank God he stopped...! But for everyone else who checked once in a while, it is ok, cos' I do that too....and sometimes, by accident.... trigger finger!!

when you limit your self to a 50 miles that nocks out 99.9% of anybody on or of the forums.just thinin.

The settings are the way they are for two reasons:
1) Spammers and scammers are annoying and they NEVER give up, so this prevents them from sending message from overseas while maintaining a fake profile in which they claim to be within the region of 50 miles. 2) I do not want to get into long distance relationships or make pen pals (exchange text messages and phone calls) , so if the person is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada there is a chance to meet, get to know each other and take it from there There is a simple way to resolve this and it is called "add as a friend" invitation. If you chat with someone on the forum and want to add this person as a friend, I think it is possible even if mail filters are up and running. After an initial exchange of messages there is no problem with keeping in touch by mail, because new Mingle mail setting would overwrite the filter settings once the mail has been sent and received. |
