Is everyone afraid to show their true face and how they speak?

Nope. I Skype with family and clients only. I see my friends at caf or snack place. Any others are acquaintances and they may reach me through email.

Man, That's just it. A lot of women are afraid of this. And rightly so. Many have met men that they thought were OK when they were messaging back and forth. Just to find out later during a video chat that the guy, for whatever reason thinks that shaking his pecker at her is appropriate.

Wouldn't it be better to find that out on video chat where they can close the window and block them. Than to have something like that happen in the middle of the first date? Just saying.

No, Put yourself in their shoes. Do you really think that women want to see some strangers dick at all? No, They don't. And there are so many perverts out there they have no idea who will cam with them and be a gentleman. Or if he is some pervert waiting for his next victim to wave his dick at.

I have been the victim of computer hack that accessed my camera and therefore will never again have an operating camera on my computer. If we are not planning to meet in person, my voice and my words should be enough.

I did Skype since I believe December 2014, and the person keep saying sweet words "aim in love with you, ....blah blah ..." but I feel will never meet face to face ...
He keep saying want to meet me, but never happened . Aim not worry with my self, I always telling people (someone) after meet me, no connection (me or him) no hurt and keep be friends...

My opinion is better talk on the phone, make planning meet up....and.... Skype after meet, you will see the real first before see on the screen.

And you think the same guy wouldn't put his dick in her face on the first date? If I was them I would rather it be on video so I can rid myself of a jerk without leaving my house. But hey, that's just the way I look at it. To each their own. When it comes to anything about the meeting rather it be video, phone, or in person it's woman's choice.

He won't put his dick in her face on the first date if she uses her head. That's why you meet in a public place. And you do it more than once.

the purpose of the hack was to access my camera, so I no longer wish anyone to be capable of doing that,,,,

I am actually a person that got hacked by a stalker I am not sure if it was your skype.. The way it was explained to me it came from a picture he sent me.. It was embedded. this guy scared the hell out of me he knew every move I made since I used my computer for everything...

Then recently I was skyping with grandkids and was on Mingle picked up a nasty virus.. The tech guys told me they couldn't be sure it if was skype or Mingle. Since then I don't skype with anyone and I am on Mingle and my computer has been fine. I am going with Skype as the culprit..

I use the Viber app. .Never ever open public chat if you aren't in my contacts you can't contact me...

When in LDR'S you have to make allowances.. That comes down to the couple...
I have knock on wood never had a penis shot nor do I want one thank you very much..

Bottom line this comes down to personal choice to do or not to do..

I personally am not doing Skype or any other on my computer. Once bit twice shy...

I say good luck hacking my systems. 90% of the people on this planet don't even know how to use my Operating System. 5% use it but wouldn't have the first clue how to hack it. 4% Know how to hack it, but are too respectable to do such a thing. 1% Know how, and would if they could. However, I take computer security very seriously and I would be in the 4% that know how but wouldn't do it. Therefore, I know how to stop the 1% from trying.

I figure the whole Skype thing is a choice as about anything else. I have found the crep-i-zoids just can't resist being stupid on Skype so for me it is a better elimination tool than having them have my phone number and everything that follows that.

But it is pretty much the same thing as some guy at the grocery trying to force me to engage in a conversation with him today. The more they push the more I resist. This evening I paused, gave him a quick look when he was starting his "strut", and the next thing out of his mouth was a "slur about nationality an inability to speak English". Sorry I don't speak to strangers on command in real life or on line.

For about a New York second I started to lapse into Kaw but he would be so ignorant he probably would not have recognized what I was speaking or been smart enough to know my people were here before his were so I just started talking to the cute cashier like he didn't even exist. Embarrassed he grabbed his stuff and stomped off to another register where the security guard busted him for cutting the line. ROFLMBO

One draw back about Skype is it is so real it is like having a date and guys tend to get too at "home" and want Skype dates every night rather than actually date in person as often. I don't feel like being and electronic pacifier.

selinux is a security system not a distribution. It's also a big pain in the rear. lol My desktop is Mint, Laptop is Arch, Home server CentOS since it's basically redhat. Though I am going to be changing all of them to Arch very soon. Once I started using it there is no real going back.

Oh I almost forgot. Phone and tablet is Android. Puppy Linux on the system I have set up as a DVR. I have DSL floating around here somewhere. I've tried Gentoo but I realised rather quickly I don't like to compile much.
