I know I want all my kids to slave in a factory job, screw making real money by being an accountant, lawyer, doctor, private detective, or maybe a college professor. Every body knows factory jobs are way better than any of those jobslaugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Buying foreign under free trade is a recipe for your kids getting a part time job at Mdonalds with no benifits. is this the legacy we are willing to leave our kids?

Seems to me you were saying the kids wouldn't have good jobs because factory work was being outsourced, which is a false statement if ever I heard one. Again, this is really only factory jobs we're talking about, which are balanced out by the boom in other job areas. I encourage people not to worry about making sure it's made in america, other countries need an economy too & still you haven't answered about what if THEY stopped buying our products like corn & tobacco. Your whole arguement in this thread, I hate to tell you is completly misinformed. And those business' you keep seeing closed aren't due to foreign products they're due to corperation sales, aka WALMART;^]

One more thing I wanna clear up b4 I head to bed, I don't want to give the wrong impression that I don't feel for the factory workers who are losing their jobs, I do, and as I said it earlier it's not a pretty cycle. But these arguements I've heard are innacurate, blaming where a product is made for the closing of stores who sell those products is wrong, walmart forces these small business' out of business with practices that small business' cannot afford to compete with. Again, the implication that future generations will not be able to get good jobs is very wrong too, aside from the boom in other job fields there will always be good jobs here that cannot be outsourced. That being said, why does noone argue this point for the factory workers that are laid off? Why is it constant BS about the "children" and local business' closing?

Oh well, food for thought anyway, tomorrows another day;^]

4th of July my family holds American flags made right here in Ohio. Where the majority of American flags are made. I know mine are made here. I have about 35 or so flags proudly displayed through out my home and property.
