Lack of experience doesn't bother me from either side, I just think it's hypocritical to dog pile on Palin and give Obama a pass. I think it's principles that matter and Sarah Palin's principles are far superior to the current President's. She's awesome I think! I would take a simple minded honest woman over an intelligent crook any day. But I think Obama is not very smart at all and Sahra Palin as quite intelligent! Seriously? I really don't get why people think she's very intelligent. Or why they idolize her. I mean sure, she's smart enough to make all kinds of money off the conservatives with her book and photo ops, but "quite intelligent" while saying Obama is not smart? How do you figure? putting her next to other conservative politicians, Palin comes out looking like Margaret Thatcher..same reason republicans think she's hot. Sure Palin's cute standing next to Pelosi..standing alone she's repulsive. well she did place second for miss alaska! Jeez never want to give credit! Palin is Hot! Any honest person would admit that, maybe she would look better in a hijab though?

Personally I think we need to get rid of the Repubican/democratic parties all together... Humans are 'click' people belong to one or the other and accepting ALL the beliefs of the party...It's gotten to the point where i look at is as a gang-war mentality What we need to do is stand UNITED as nation(which we are not at present) and defend one thing...are right to be different and free Publicly funded elections where one doesn't mention what party they belong to, but just tell you what their policies are people vote for them specifically on their policies alone....Both canidates(I would actually want to be able to choose from more that two) would have the same amount of air-time to be heard. Let the American public's votes count..popular votes that is not this electoral crap. But that's jmo maybe it would give someone who actually gives a crap, that wasn't priviledged with a silver spoon, and Havard education but who is an effective leader a chance...someone who understands the concept of hard-work and money management and even general economics...but again that's jmo well brother the electtoral college is needed to protect the Republic! Without it the democrats in New York and California would run the entire country! It would completely abolish states rights and soon after they would rewrite our bill of rights and the constitution and do away with all liberty! Democracies lead to mob rule and socialism, we need our republic! That works strongest for the Republican Party. Without the electoral college, Lincoln would never have been elected. He only received 40% of the popular vote. If Lincoln had not been elected there may never have been a Republican Party. It might have stopped right there with their second defeat. Then all those Constitutional Amendments they created may not ever have been. Let's not forget the two elections Bush Jr won! So i guess your opinion is the founding fathers had it wrong? That we should not be a Republic? Yes i seem to remember that kennedy also did not win the popular vote and lincoln did! Your facts are always so skewed even in a democracy Lincoln would have been elected because he received the majority of the popular vote! the guy that came in second had 29% and there where two other candidates sharing the rest! Yes it is true he did not get over 50% but no candidate did, who should they have made president? Jeez.......... shredded again! OK! I've been shredded. Once! I am telling you man it really may be coming to revolution time! The bank bailouts was the last straw for me! When those f'n republicans i voted for told me they where gonna bail out those banks owned by in large by foreign investments with tax payer dollars that was it for me! Now my damn credit card rates got jacked to 30%, No recovery in sight! I mean **** had the banks failed who would of collected on my car note, credit card bills, mortgage payment? I tell you who no one! Sure the fdic would had to step in on some of it, but all the rest would of been either washed away or purchased on the secondary market that would have created some recovery in itself!

Then they tell our elderly that paid into the system for years they dont have enough for medicare! Remember the stories of the elderly eating catfood to survive on s.s. that was promised to them??? Now the politicians say that social security was never intended as a retirement program just as an added benifit and thats a lie too! thats not how they sold it originally! They can not be trusted! Samll government, shut it all down and return the money to the american people and the elderly get whats promised to them by American taxes while we do away with the entire system! Create a enforced retirement program regualted by the government that you can "will" to your children! Why should the wealth of our retirement be given to the politicians? |

What everybody seems to be missing is the banks have been taxing the American people on the front end with credit card rates and fees! They never paid the American people back the American people paid themselves back! Not to mention when all the big banks where gobbling up the samll banks for pennies on the dollar they received their assets at a bargain and now have our housing market held hostage! The bailout was wrong and the banks should have failed and when they did they would have never been able to recover the money owed to them! The money owed to them by the American people by in large! bailing them out only gave them the money to go after us and they have in full force! The banks get a free ride on the backs of the American tax payers! We paid to bail out our own creditors to collect on a good debt and we paid to clean up their bad debt! We had the banks on the ropes and all the suckers including those damn republicans that i voted for sold us down the river! Had they allowed the banks to fail the FDIC could have cleaned up the mess and what couldnt be cleaned up would have been foriegn investors losing their money or other investors!!!! But nnoooooooooooo we can't let the chinese and saudi's and wealthy lose their money so we put it on the backs of the american tax payer! Such a farse by all politicians! Almost every single one of them was in on this scandal!

Esp. when you run around talking about freedom to defend his ownership. How anyone can take the possible ramifications so dis-serious as to make a comparison to chocolate ice cream is profound in it's short sightedness. It's dangerous to the very freedoms you claim to defend. So is passing a healthcare bill that is over 1,000 pages long and has many many 'additions' that they are not showing you publicly...as an example the government would be allowed to withdraw real-time from you bank account to pay for medical expenses... That's the freedom I want  One day my friend you will grow older. I only hope you don't find your self with a real medical crisis and the bills that accompany such. Ahh, to be young and carefree again! Not that young, and not really that carefree. I care a great deal, one of the reasons I chose to join the Military. I understand full heartedly the amount medical bills can be(I lived with my mom in a school bus with six kids because of such)It helped me to grow up and understand the concept of money quite well actually. I was the second kid in my family to complete highschool and get my A.A degree because I fought for both. I do agree to a point that the government should help with medical bills...but the government already has a medical program..Medicare which is going bankrupt...but the government insist they know what they are doing. One of my neighbors is a senior and has been relying on Medicare for prescriptions which use to cost her $50 dollars last time she went in to pick them up they wanted $580 because the government chose to cut back on the program. So their track record isn't really that good when it comes to handling money, or medical. I wouldn't invest in company that continues to show a bad track record...it would be unwise I can respect that! It is posts like this which make me reflect. I'm not sure if medicare is connected to the Social Security Program. I think it is though. Did you realize that the SS Administration is the only department in the US Gov that continues to show a profit, year after year? That's crazy talk, a profit? that is impossible! Government never shows a profit only a surplus! The idea S.S. showed a profit just shows how misinformed you are! s.s is a savings account that should have a surplus at all times because so! The fact is each year the surplus is lower and lower and they predict soon it will be completly out of surplus and it will need to raise taxes just to take in what is needed to dish out! It's like saying your personal retirement account is showing a profit???? WOW LMAO! |

Bush... same issues apply to both Just because you don't like him or agree with his policies doesn't make him a failed or even a bad president well you are somewhat right, Bush while telling conservatives what they wanted to hear worked with the democrats. This was a disaster! Speaking right and working left doesn't work becuase the ideology of the left doesnt work! Barney frank is a perfect example! Bush should have never let that guy get the legislation thru to open up fannie mae and freddie mac to sub-prime lending! Once that legislation was inacted the toxic assests infected the foundation of our financial institutions leading to the collapse! That "key" peice of legislation if not passed banks would have never had the backing of the fed for those assets and therefore never would had enough money unprotected from the toxic assets! |

Currently he is trying to get health care thru and the main obstacle are the blue dog democrats. Obama will probably get some version thru. Once that is done campaigns for the 2010 mid-term begin to ramp up and his numbers slipping and the voters pissed off because they didn't want health care the blue dogs are no longer gonna visably support him in fear of losin their seats. In 2010 The Republicans seeing the writing on the wall will begin to put in place real right wing conservatives with promises to return to our conservative roots! Not needing to move left for the moderate vote because of Obama's failures and using his own tactic against him "running against bush" the GOP will pick up seats in a land slide! Once we have control of the congress and senate Obama will become a lame duck president too stubborn to compromise with too many enemies already made on the right. he does have one chance to rectify the situation! If after the 2010 elections he decides to reach accross the isle to work with the GOP as Clinton did he could become an extremely successful president! The most succesful democrats speak the rhetoric of the left and vote as a conservative! If he figures this out and stops drinking his own parties koolaid then he has a chance. But as long as he beleives his own rhetoric he doesn't have a chance in hell!

A year ago they posted a story stating a 13 year old Christian pakistani was raped by a group of muslims for the sole reason of being christian and the house was robbed and ransacked. However, the picture they posted of the girl, she was wearing a hijab and they listed her name. Anyone that has taken a journalism class would know you don't name rape victims. Second, this girl was wearing a hijab which 99% means she wasn't a christian at all. After contacting Fox, they gave me some lame reason that the sources were wrong and soon after the story vanished from the website. Bill O'Reilly claims the NY times make up news stories, he should actually take a look at his boss's own website. jeez stating statistics like 99% with no basis! Don't they have laws requiring hijab's in some areas of the world and even if they dont have a law requiring it public persacution is real too. Just because your forced to wear one by law or fear does not mean your not a christian. Jeez! sir my basis is i'm from the middle east and no what you assert doesn't apply in Pakistan much less the rest of the world. I've never seen a christian forced to wear a head scarf in an islamic country, if they do it's their choice. I've also never seen one persecuted on the basis they were Christian. Have you been to a predominately Muslim country? i was born in a predom. muslim country, i've studied in a predom. muslim country, and i've traveled to other predom. muslim countries. I don't know where in my previous posts that didn't make that any clearer. I have on multiple occassions seen women, reporters, staff and so on of non-muslim women wearing coverings. Dont try to make it like sharia law does not exsist, even when not on the law books they attempt to enforce it! Don't try and pretend those countries even if not theocracies are not full of theocrats! I am an Iraq war vet and have been over seas! Can not lie to me to try and say there is equality over there because there is not! Not sure what story you are talking about, but i know the middle east to be a shiet hole! A horrible place to live where people cowar in the street from oppressive religous dictator's! The theocracy of hate and oppression and thats a fact jack!
