WOW. This is a long running thread, that is answered in 4 words.

DIFFERENT STROKES ---DIFFERENT FOLKS

I enjoy sex. I will not die if I don't have sex.

I KNOW a person can have a heart attack, that kills them, WHILE having sex.

Those are the facts. So be nice to each other & respect the opinions of others.

Opinion of an old sage.

Everything & anything, has to start with conversation, then friendship & trust. We are old enough, should be intelligent/experienced enough, to make our further choices with care. Determine the paths we choose to take & use our brain to determine EXACTLY what RISKS we want to take.

After that; treat others as YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!

MY "COMMON SENSE" tells me to find "FRIENDS" first, learn about them, as a "FRIEND". Then if you want to get closer, TALK with your "FRIEND" & see what their thoughts are. If they are not of the same mind, you still have a "FRIEND". All this "relationship" first & "FRINDS" later; is like "putting the cart in front of the horse". NOT the best way to go some where.

After looking through hundreds of pics of men between the ages of 59 and 70 I have noticed that Most pictures portray individuals of at least 10years older than their declared age. What is it with the scraggly beards, mustaches and long hair? I'm inclined to think "..are you kidding? Or what kind of life have you lived? And do I want to live that life too? Why are you hiding behind all that hair? If the guy is on his Harley, with his dog, sport car, a prized fish, children or grand babies and beater shirt; face it he is not going to be into you. You are now a part of his collection. Another thing. Profession: Retired . This tells you nothing about the guy, only that he cannot afford you for a wife or long term relationship. Profession should be more specific and require an industry too. Like retired:Farmer, preacher, scientist so as to relate to a possible prospective. Just wondering, little things

This is one reason y we don't go for "older" women. The 20 questions, judgmental behavior, simply "mental", and financial statements "requirements" lol Older women cannot seemed to simply relax and enjoy the moments without complaining... more power 2u!

Different strokes/ Different folks. Men & Women need to do the same thing. FRIENDSHIP: Is where everything starts. MANNERS REQUIRED. Decent pictures help. Age isn't just a number, attitude can help over come SOME age differences. Now you have MY OPINION.

Sad but true. Thank you for sharing the story.

I agree; its like we committed a crime by aging. I just stopped dating or caring. I am who I am; take it or leave it. Life is too short to worry about what any man thinks of me and there isn't a man on this whole planet that will ever make me feel bad about myself again.

Agree & any person that insults Navy, deserves to get horse whipped.

I know a good woman in her 50 yr age, was going thru' her divorce after 5 yr of separation when her ex.. found someone new. She has a new friend they exchange personal photos. After 2 months of communication he told her he likes her photo and want to go deeper in the relationship and told her that he needs someone beside him, and he can't do without her....and want to spend the rest of his life with her. He doesn't mind to come and meet her. She had scammers before this man so she fears of new scammer and said; "if this one is a scammer that will destroy me."
I advised her to go to the end of their relationship and meet him as soon as possible even if she is in the divorce process. I know this process is very harmful to the woman especially if she is a mom. Do you have any advice to her?

Nothing ventured, NOTHING GAINED. DEF. of insanity; Doing the same thing , again & again & EXPEDTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!!

 I am a woman in my early fities. Have been divorced for 14 years. I am ready to get back into the dating scene, and wondering if older men truly interested in meeting older women or are they only looking for young trophy gorlfriends/ wives?

The majority of older men are looking for younger women - that is why Viagra was invented - so they could keep having sex after mother nature had played her part. Most older men cannot sustain an erection past 60 or don't require sex as often. Women after menopause go into another phase of their sexuality - no longer driven by the procreation gene, they want sex for different reasons. Men don't get this and turn to Viagra and younger women. Older women have become invisible. That's what we get for trying to fool Mother Nature. JOAN

There are some good men here. Get in the threads, chat & get known. Talk to some of the ladies also. Use common sense & be careful, you will do just fine.

Lung. I have total respect for your research, but there can be to much of a good thing. If you are interested in American women, you need to learn to speak from your feelings, NOT research & books.

Old American saying, words don't lie, but LIARS use words. Studies are structured to produce the opinions of the managers. DO NOT believe all you read.

How about sharing YOUR personal experiences?

GOOD LORD, People.

Sex is always good, never had ANY bad sex; some just better than others.

"to old to cut the mustard; you can still lick the jar."

More important then sex, is good companionship, trust able person, intelligence, open minded & NOT selfish.

These need to come first, THEN I will worry about sex & see where life takes us.
