The initial tussle occurred, the source said, after the young man in question “tried to get in” to the Hummer limousine after he’d engaged in some unspecified “questionable behavior.”

Track Palin soon found himself struggling to fend off four men who had “piled on him,” according to the source.

Todd Palin then inserted himself into the brawl, which left the former “First Dude” of Alaska bleeding.

Next, it was Sarah Palin’s turn to leave her own mark on the most talked about rumble in Anchorage since the 1964 earthquake.

On the previous night, she had been in Houston to speak at a fundraiser benefiting the Mighty Oaks Warrior Foundation, which helps wounded veterans. That event apparently was fresh on Palin’s mind when she engaged in the tumult on Saturday night.

According to the source, as her husband and son were trading blows with their adversaries, Palin was yelling (in reference to her son), “Don’t you know who he is? He’s a vet!”

This rendition of her words differs slightly but significantly from a previous report, which had Palin shouting, “Don’t you know who I am?”

Over the years, Sarah Palin has spoken frequently about her son’s U.S. Army service in the Iraq War, and Track currently serves as a counselor, working with veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Guess it all depends on who you get your story from.

While on vacation, Obama wanted to play golf. He had a lot on his mind.

Anyway, when Obama notified a golf course he wanted to get in a few rounds the next day, he was denied entry.

He called a second nearby course.

Denied again.

He called a 3rd course, denied entry.

The golf courses all said...

"It's a holiday weekend, he gave us only one day notice, and our customers had already paid for the time and courses he wanted to use."

What do you think about this?

It happens all the time on all golf courses. If you don't call ahead of time sometimes weeks ahead if you want to get on the course on a holiday weekend. He golf a lot he should know that.

Does it matter how old it is?
It still holds true. And no politician or president will do anything about it. They are all bought. Maybe reporting it and more people seeing it will wake up we the people.

Stolen by Islamic militants. With September 11 fast approaching.

I'm sure they were just upset at the high prices of airfare not to mention the cost of checking a bag. So why not start their own airline.

lol chris rock

I wonder where his satire is about how slaves could have 'avoided' getting lynched,,,,

yep, it can be AVOIDED by complete submission and obedience

I agree

finding americans who are willing to be OBEDIENT or SUBMISSIVE to something they feel is unjust or threatening,,, is another matter though,,

I wonder how dozens of black folks on public land being DISOBEDIENT of authorities by holding them off with guns would have been handled,,,,,laugh

Kind of a different situation. People weren't rioting and looting on the ranch.
Would have been nice to see law abiding gun owners in Ferguson defending and protecting the stores from being robbed and burned down. Then I believe the police wouldn't have rolled out in their riot gear and tactical vehicles.

Futile law,, in my opinion

Reuters) - Californian lawmakers passed a law on Thursday requiring universities to adopt "affirmative consent" language in their definitions of consensual sex, part of a nationwide drive to curb sexual assault on U.S. campuses.

The measure, passed unanimously by the California State Senate, has been called the "yes-means-yes" bill. It defines sexual consent between people as "an affirmative, conscious and voluntary agreement to engage in sexual activity".

The bill states that silence and a lack of resistance do not signify consent and that drugs or alcohol do not excuse unwanted sexual activity.

Governor Jerry Brown must sign the bill into law by the end of September. If he does, it would mark the first time a U.S. state requires such language to be a central tenet of school sexual assault policies, said Claire Conlon, a spokeswoman for State Senator Kevin De Leon, who championed the legislation.

Opponents of the bill say it is politically over-reaching and could push universities into little charted legal waters.

how do you prove or disprove such 'consent' occurred?

I have a contract I make women sign.

that's not an excuse TJN, respectfully

the video will probably be given to the grand jury too, but they released it

there is no reason that information cant be both made public AND Given to the grand jury,,,

The video will do no good if givin to the grand jury.

"The robbery is not broadly admissible to show that Mike Brown was the sort of person who robs convenience stores. Federal Rule of Evidence 404(b)(1) — which is duplicated in some form in most state evidence codes — provides:

Evidence of a crime, wrong, or other act is not admissible to prove a person’s character in order to show that on a particular occasion the person acted in accordance with the character.

In other words, if my client is accused of bank robbery, the government can't introduce his prior bank robberies to show that he's the sort of person who robs banks and therefore probably robbed this one. Note that the rule talks about persons, meaning it applies to evidence about parties and witnesses."

Someone has a source that says the cop had a fractured eye socket.
Someone has a source that says the cop doesn't have a fractured eye socket.
Who do you believe?
Wait till the medical report comes out.

yes, it would be nice to have that info,, they give me that info when they discharge me from the hospital

interesting how long this info has taken to become PUBLIC in this case,,,

I'm sure the medical report is probably being used as evidence to the grand jury therefore it will not be public until after the grand jury's decision.
