First Meeting

I am grateful for the support. Its nice to know this isnt the norm among men. I find it funny that no one has said that they dont see a problem with meeting in a private place. I havent done a whole lot of internet dating, and already I have had 2 men insist on meeting in a private place. So where are all the proponents of this? I want to hear your side.... Does common sense suggest to you that meeting a complete stranger in a private place is perfectly ok? Sorry "meeting" someone online doesn't count. An online "persona" can be very different from a real live person. |

I don't recognize a lot of the posters here anymore. Most of the people I knew seem to be gone.

No worries. Already have a couple of other things lined up. Just takes a bit to get going again. At least there are jobs out there this time around. Last time there was next to nothing.

Yeah. Finished in January. Didn't have a whole lot of luck finding a pharmacy job though. Ended up working for Intel for a few months. Now I'm between jobs again.

i dont know if any of you have taken a civics course but if congress doesnt pass bills they can't become a law and it's hard to get laws when the opposition stonewalls and blocks legislation just because they don't like the other party and offer solutions. republicans aren't debating they're acting like school children. You are kidding right? What part of the Dems having majority in the House and Senate do you not understand? They had enough votes to pass anything they wanted to without the Repubs. So exactly How did the Repubs stop them from doing anything? Hey. The Democratic party bus said it so it must be so. |

Oh please. You act like this is a surprise. Corporations have run this country for many, many years now. Every politician is in the pocket of one corporation or another. Who do you think hands out the election campaign money? The corporations have ways to avoid taxes...why on Earth would you think they couldn't find a way around limitations on campaign contributions? They already do. They simply bundle their contributions under the guise of individual contributions. |

I have no problem with a group date. As long as the group consists of solely members of the opposite sex and I can hit on all of them freely. Sort of like speed dating but without the competition.

Just ended an assignment with possibly the worst commute ever. Sadly, I was going the opposite way from the rush hour folks and it was still bad.
